2019 Honda Insight http://www.motortrend.com/news/2019-honda-insight-goes-mainstream/ It’s official: Honda will bring back the Insight nameplate that it discontinued in 2014. This time around, Honda is positioning the Insight as an upscale, five-passenger sedan instead of a hatch. Honda has released images of the Insight Prototype ahead of its official debut at the Detroit auto show in January. The prototype takes plenty of design cues from the Civic, including its long hood and curvaceous body lines. The 2019 Honda Insight will adopt a two-motor hybrid system. The 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid uses this type of setup, pairing two electric motors with a 2.0-liter DOHC Atkinson cycle engine. Exact powertrain details for the Insight are unknown, but it’s already sounding better than the pesky Integrated Motor Assist setup on the old Insight. We never liked the system, which is comprised of a 1.3-liter I-4 with an electric motor producing a combined total of 98 hp. The powertrain would switch on and off too abruptly at stoplights, as we noted in a 2009 review. Introduced in 1999, the first-generation Insight was a two-door vehicle and the first hybrid to launch in the U.S. Honda didn’t debut a second generation until 2009, when the model adopted a more practical five-door design. Still, we weren’t all that impressed with the Insight’s interior space, not to mention its ride quality. Transforming the Insight from an egg-shaped hatch to a sedan should help broaden its appeal. And it’ll erase any comparisons that may have been made in the past with the king of all hybrids, the Toyota Prius. Expect a much more premium feel and a more spacious interior for the new Insight. It’ll slot above the Civic in Honda’s lineup and will offer fuel economy that is competitive with other compact hybrids, the automaker says. Honda is also claiming the model will have “best-in-class performance.” “You won’t have to be an electrification advocate to appreciate the new Insight—it’s a great car in its own right, independent of what’s happening under the hood,” Henio Arcangeli Jr., senior vice president of Automobile Sales and general manager of the Honda Division at American Honda Motor Co., said in a statement. A production version of the Insight will arrive next summer. It’s part of Honda’s plan for electrified vehicles to comprise two-thirds of its global sales by 2030. The 2019 Honda Insight will join the new Accord Hybrid, launching early next year, alongside the Clarity series in Honda’s expanding green lineup. The vehicle will enter production at Honda’s plant in Greensburg, Indiana. Source: Honda

A young ventriloquist is touring Sweden and, one night, he's doing a show in a small fishing town. With his dummy on his knee, he starts going through his usual dumb blonde jokes. Suddenly, a blonde woman in the fourth row stands on her chair and starts shouting, "I've heard enough of your stupid blonde jokes. What makes you think you can stereotype Swedish blond women that way? What does the... color of a woman's hair have to do with her worth as a human being? It's men like you who keep women like me from being respected at work and in the community, and from reaching our full potential as people. Its people like you that make others think that all Blondes are dumb! You and your kind continue to perpetuate discrimination against not only blondes, but women in general ... pathetically all in the name of humor!" The embarrassed ventriloquist begins to apologize, and the blonde yells: "You stay out of this! I'm talking to that little s--t on your lap!"

People are daft .... really daft the banks are trying to get rid of the man in street bank account because it is a loosing money business for the bank that is why DBS is perhaps the only bank that charges a money $2 fee for having a current account the other banks are hoping these people dont change and come to their bank banks are cold hearted business if you got money, they are your best friend No significant rise in requests for ATM card replacement: DBS Posted: 24 February 2012 1744 hrs SINGAPORE: DBS Group said on Friday that there has been no significant increase in requests from customers to have their ATM cards replaced. This follows Thursday's statement that the bank had been hit by another round of unauthorised ATM withdrawals. On 19 February, 17 customers were affected and they lost S$23,000. The bank said customers can help to lower the risk of unauthorised withdrawals by changing their PINs at any of its ATMs. The bank said it reimbursed the affected customers within 24 hours and de-activated the ATM cards and those of other account holders it felt were at risk. It said no other unauthorised withdrawals have been made over the past few days. It added that the latest incident, which is under investigations, was related to the same card skimming operation in which about S$1 million was stolen from 700 customers in January. Some of the bank's customers expressed their concerns. One said: "I can only say that the people that did this, they really get better and better. The previous time was done overseas, and this time round they are doing it in Singapore. They've improved!" Another said: "I will change my PIN, but if this thing happens again, and more people are affected, I might consider changing (to) another bank.""With regards to any system, nothing is perfect and as long as the bank - when anything negative happens - (is) proactive about fine-tuning it, I think it's ok," added a third customer.

Recently i have been doing some research on this model and noted that it is priced very competitively to fight against the toyota prius many reviews on you tube are glowing. The car really is very efficient and is a really Green car, yet is fun to drive now i noticed only some PIs are bringing it in. I would be more likely to purchase it if it was brought in my a AD. But i think Kah motor will surely attach a premium to it. anyone seriously considering this car ? what do u think the car's introductory price will be like ?

(1.0L 3cyl Gas/Elec Hybrid 5M) Here is its rear Side got a little ugly The good: Best-of-breed gas mileage; clear, simple instruments and controls; solid support options. The bad: Horrendous stereo speakers; compromised rear visibility; lacks digital entertainment and GPS navigation options; noisy. The bottom line: The Honda Insight gets best-of-breed gas mileage, but its lack of digital comforts and cabin room constrains its uses. bla, bla, bla (long reviews, lazy to copy) Full reviews:http://x.ygddai.com/cars/20071101/2005_Hon..._Hatchback.html What do you guys thing about this
