    Hi-Glaze 88

Hi, saw this product in Giant. Any feedback on it ? As in ease of buffing off, how long the shine/protection last...
  2. Anyone heard of this stuff? any comments appreciated Heard that its the same grooming for BMW owners. Thanks in advance
  3. Have any bros used both the products, any differences in result? Saw in forums mentioning that they are the same products but in different packaging. The price is also different with Carlack being more expensive (Carlack 68 - 1 litre is $58 while Hi Glaze 88 is $18 for 350ml)
  4. Here's pictures of my 2 month old ride after undergoing Amazing Glaze Treatment. It makes washing so much easier and the results is great for me.
  5. Hi guys u may have read about my thread asking about the Hi-Glaze 88 http://www.mycarforum.com/forum/Aftermarke...ze_88_P1044379/ Well I got the product 3 weeks ago, so today was the 3rd coat I was applying on the car. Results below http://photobucket.com/albums/v77/Erikkson...8/?sc=1&multi=5 As u can see, the roof lines are still kinda wavy...maybe a couple more times of applying Hi-Glaze 88 and the lines will straighten right? But of course, hand-polishing is not as good as machine polishing from KLEF. Compare KLEF here http://photobucket.com/albums/v77/Erikkson...al/KLEF_Polish/ Any comments will be appreciated.
  6. Any user comments for the product above. Many thanks.
  7. sent my car to C&C for repairs today....and after that they washed my car...thing is when I went to collect, I noticed 2 long scratches on the bonnet. So I called the service personnel to help me remove the scratches. He took this bottle of Hi-Glaze 88, poured out some gooey white stuff onto a rag...and just polished abit and voila! The scratches were gone in an instant! Thus I would like to ask....where do they sell this Hi-Glaze 88? Thanks

I was excited when the car came back and took some shots of it. 1st pic ) Roof of the car. SPOTLESSLY WHITE! 2nd) side view ( mind the latio in background. It has not been touched up for along time. 3rd) boot view. 4th) front bonnet. see the reflections! shing shing! 5th) engine bay ( just for fun) 6th) another side profile view 7th) yet another side view. 8th) side window view. NICE! Well, for a payment of $150 and they did such a nice job in removing all the stubborn stains and bird sxxt marks, and i think its good. And specially for a pearl white. car. Sorry yeah.. for picture with latio background, its all the way bottom. SRY!

    Purple Glaze

Hi, Did this to my sis-in-law car over the weekend. The whole process ended quite late, so I have to take the after shots the following day. No before shots though, and pardon me for some blurish pictures; my hand was still shaking after all that work. Washed and clayed the car

  13. If you guys are tired of DIY, you can actually send your car to this car grooming company who uses exclusively Hi Glaze 88. I was told if you wash your car with Hi Glaze 88 once or twice (kiasu) a week, your car can be showroom condition. I learnt this from Steven, the guy running these outlets 1) Blk 190, Toa Payoh Central, Deck 2 2) Blk 4, Tanjong Pagar Plaza, Deck E 3) Blk 805, Hougang Central, Deck 2 4) Blk 10, Cantonment Close He charges around $10 for sealant wash (Hi Glaze 88) + Vacuum. Polishing is available from $48 onwards. Steven can be contactable at 9430 8066
  14. Dear All, Just got my pearl white sunny today. Thinking of putting on this paint protector. Any advice on this product. I got a quote of $350 for my car.
  15. Got quotes over the phone for my new Mondeo for grooming packages. Now just a poll for me to pick the brain of MCFers! I don't want to DIY for risk of heart attack and I want a package, not a single polish. All the prices are for an annual package of 1 +3 polishes, Glare is for 18 months. I am siding towards Glare because I know the US Marines use glassplexin to coat the inside of M16s! Also because Glare is near my house, and it's the cheapest! Any and all opinions welcome!
  16. Check out this website http://www.caraccessories.com.sg/eshop/item349.htm. Anyone know or use this product? Any comments?

    Amazing Glaze

Has any bros used this project on his car? I am thinking of applying it to my car. I called up the company. Was told that the price is $350. The job will take about 3 to 4 hours to complete. A professional car polishing and waxing session costs about $150. If I were to polish and wax every 4 months, I will spend $450 per year. Whereas for Amazing Glaze, it is guaranteed for a year. Costing $350, it means I actually save $100 per year to maintain the look of my car. Thus it makes economic sense to use Amazing Glaze. However, my concern is this: "Is Amazing Glaze as good as it claims?" Appreciate any feedback. Thanks
  18. It's the first time I've tried this product. What can I say? I'll swear by it. Period **swear loudly for a long time** After 3 hours of toiling through with lotsa polishing cloth (trust me, you'll need alot) the effects are FANTASTIC! Especially if your car is dark-coloured, you'll notice that the paintwork seems to be residing "deeper" from the surface, as if there's a clear coat protecting it on top. Will do some waxing tomorrow. It was getting late and the evening condensation was beginning to form quickly over the car surface. If I can get a silver based, metallic colour to shine like this, imagine what can be done on flat dark colours! Excellent! Cool's reccomendation. I figure he'll swear by it just as loudly as me. I heard it's quite cheap. 10 bucks thereabouts a bottle enough for 3 generous applications on a medium sized car. I'll reccomend a cheap and easy to use product for liquid wax. Soft99. There's the white one, and the metallic can one. I use the metallic can one. One small section of a sponge, and some polishing cloth. Easy on with sponge, no need to wait for the haze, and easy off with a polish cloth. Doesn't last, but its no sweat! For the Mother's Sealant and Glaze, Love the: 1. Clear coat results. 2. Shine even before wax. 3. Does make swirl marks disappear. 4. Applies on just like liquid wax. Sponge on. Hate the: 1. Rubbery rub-offs. Quite irritating. Need to dust off again. 2. Messy at the end. Sticky on polishing cloth, hence you'll need alot of cloth. (Disclaimer: I do not work for Mother's or that product's distributor or sales agent blah blah blah... Hell, I didn't even buy that bottle of stuff! ) iCeRain's grading for Mother's Sealant and Glaze
