It's time for me to replace my tyres. I am now using Hankook Ventus ME01 size 215/55/R17. The dry grip is ok but the wet grip is horrendous. However, it is relatively quiet tyre. I am looking to change to goodyear efficientgrip performance Does anyone know any distributor in the West?

Time to change my tyres. 225/45/17. Please recommend good wet grip and comfort tyres and of course not ex. At the moment using Michelin Primacy HP. It is noisy and running like over the humps.

my tyres has been locking up on metal plates and drain caps. In some cases my car will skid sideways id the wheels lock up. Does this happen to everyone or should I change my tyres?

Michelin claims that their new Primacy LC tyre reduce rolling resistance by 13%. With lesser rolling resistance, does that mean less friction? When there is less friction, does that then mean poorer grip? I know nothing about tyre physics or chemistry but it just seems to me that tyre acts on resistance for grip so it sounds natural to me that less friction means less grip? Also, anyone have any experience on this tyre? How's the grip and what's the price? Thanks!

Those who thought only the Yokohama Aspec has poor grip in the wet will be surprised that the Bridgestone Potenza is no better, esp in those multistorey carpark wet cement slopes when it rains. Drove a friend's car today and experienced it first hand for myself. The front wheels practically spun when going up a multistorey car park! This Potenza is noisier than the Aspec DB but grip is excellent for dry runs at high speed.

Currently using AVS 100 and looking for a change soon. Seems that very few tyres with Level A traction in these 60 profile. Was told that changing to Bridgestone G111 is moving a step backwards. Looking for good traction and roadholding, doesnt have to be quiet as long as not too noisy.... any suggestions?

are they two sides of the same coin? i am confused ... wider tyres = more grip (also more drag ) under what circumstance would one want more grip at the cost of more drag or vice versa?
