  1. plastic bags and other container i can understand but no straw and cup lids? they probably need more cleaners to clean up more mess.
  2. A budget vacation for the family These rooms in the Theme Park Hotel suits most family very well. Especially those productive parents with 3-4 kids. https://youtu.be/TdEUKxEZDwA Classic high tea and walkabout on the first day of arrival. You need to walk a lot after numbing your butt in the long bus trip. https://youtu.be/l4gazQySWbI
  3. Few days back I got into an accident. Traffic jam at usual flowing road, front vehicle jam brakked, I brake in time. Vehicle from rear came crashing and drag me to hit vehicle in front. Damage to my car front and back. Friendly "helper" appear within 10 mins. Saying he can handle the case so that I don't pay a single cent. Helped my car to a Kaki Bukit workshop. Gave me a replacement car on the spot and promises one week lead time. Helped with all my incident reports and tells me that he knows what that after viewing the other party's reports, he confirms that it's third party claim. After repair he will one to one exchange my car. Sound very good service so far. How can I ensure that this is a confirm third party claim? Because this ws is not authorized ws for my insurance. If somehow later on they say that the 3rd party claim not successful, when will I know? Any experience with this workshop? Do I need to be careful of something? Do i force them to produce something before start repair? As for insurance reports I got none so far.
  4. Today, I started my day in a happy happy mood - I had the car to myself for a nice relaxing drive to work, Punggol to Bedok. Can take my time, listen to the radio and generally chillout. No wifey to nag, no rush, no need to drop kids to school and no need to squeeze on MRT. Then it started. That's why I posted in L&E instead of Cars - because I wasn't bamn freaking driving, I was in the hell of purgatory. A slight jam to enter the TPE - no problem, methinks, I will be in the right lane all the way - no need to worry about the congestion at the KPE exit, or the jam at Avenue 7 or the queue cutters at Upper Changi. Boy howdy was I ever freaking wrong on that score. From Punggol Road, ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the mother freaking scum sucking syphilis ridden pus oozing way to Tampines Avenue 7 exit it was stop start traffic. Never got over 50km/h the whole way. What's wrong, methinks. Is it roadworks? Has somebody been turned into ketchup? Has the haze blocked everyone's view? How about Tinkerbell came and made a tree fall on the road? This traffic can't be normal. Somewhere around Tampines Avenue 10 - the radio announced that there was an accident on the TPE towards the SLE at Tampines Ave 7 - AHA! That's It. Blardy idjit angmoh maple leaf infected foreigner can't read!! He's just a little bit confusted. He's screwed up. The accident is towards the PIE not the SLE. That would explain it!! fark But no, as is apparent when I see the flashing lights, the accident is indeed towards the SLE. Immediately after the lights, I accelerate to 110km/h. The horrors!! I was speeding! What was the cause of the slowdown? Why did it take me 30 minutes to drive from Punggol Road to Upper Changi Road? Because of 4D playing farktards slowing down and looking at the accident! You wanna rubberneck? Do you know what I will do to you? I will cut off that appendage that men love to talk to you, I would say beat you senseless with it - but to do that you need some sense to less. Then I will replace it with a rubber appendage. One that will never get hard. the best thing about this is that your genes will be removed from the general population. People like you are worse than the bottom dwelling parasites that feed on scum sucking -infected pusstules on the arse-end of a dung beetle. You can all take a long walk from a very short pier. You are the worst of the worst. Keep your stupid, moronic, idiotic, thick-witted, unintelligent, squirrely, bird brained, hare brained, fatuous, imbecelic, batty, asinine, inane, daft, daffy, foolish driving off the road your tosstard! that will be all Thankyou
  5. Hmmmmmm........ we are at the top again in Asia ... Yahoo news: Only 14% of Malaysian hotels disabled friendly, study finds Only 14% of hotels in Malaysia are accessible for disabled people, while neighbouring Singapore has the most disabled-friendly hotels in Asia at 40%, says a study by hotel booking site Agoda.com. The study, which looked at information provided by more than 600,000 hotels available on the site, found that hotels in the United States are by far the most friendly in the world. “The United States has the highest percentage of accessible hotels for disabled people at 77%, while Laos has the lowest at 1%. The study also found that only 14% of Malaysian hotels were friendly towards them,” said Agoda.com in a press release. Tied at second place were the United Arab Emirates, Ireland, and Portugal, with 55% of hotels in each of the country offering facilities for guests with disabilities, followed by New Zealand (54%), Mauritius (53%), Italy (52%), Puerto Rico (51%) and France (47%) While no Asian country made the top 10 list, Singapore was the highest ranking country in the region, coming in 18th place overall with 50% disabled-friendly hotels. “Many factors influence whether hotels will have accessible facilities, including local laws and regulations, the type of visitors who come to the destination, and the age of most accommodations,” said Agoda.com. “United Arab Emirates, for example, has seen a more than decade-long building boom resulting in many newly-built hotels, which are more likely to be accessible. In the capital, Abu Dhabi, 90% of the hotels have facilities for disabled people.” Meanwhile, five of the 10 destinations at the bottom of the list came from the Asian region, the website said. The 10 countries with the lowest number of accessible accommodations were Uruguay (10%), Vietnam (9%), Nepal (8%), Thailand (8%), Azerbaijan (8%), Cambodia (8%), Bolivia (8%), Georgia (8%), Montenagro (7%), and Laos (1%). Agoda.com said the study included only countries with more than 100 hotels listed on its site, with the data self-reported by hotels. – April 1, 2015. 15. Home > Breaking News > Courts and Crime > Story Sep 24, 2008 3 caught for peddling fakes By Chua Hian Hou THREE people, including a polytechnic student, were arrested for peddling fake luxury goods over the Internet in a police crackdown on Tuesday. The trio, two men and a woman aged 18 to 29, 'will be released on bail pending further investigations', said a police statement on Tuesday night. Counterfeit goods from luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, computers and documents were seized in the five-hour crackdown. The trio had been passing off their counterfeits, which they sourced from suppliers in China, as the real deal for at least three months via their blog websites. They would collect money from the unwitting buyers via online banking or ATM transfers, and then send the items purchases via post or pass it to the buyers personally. The Straits Times understands that in the course of investigation , 'trap purchases' were also made to verify that the products were indeed fakes. 'The police and rights owners will continue to mount operations against infringers who think they can exploit the anonymity of the Internet to ply their trade,' said the statement. Those convicted of selling counterfeit items face fines of up to $100,000, as well as jail terms of up to 5 years. http://www.straitstimes.com/Breaking%2BNew...ory_282044.html ---------------

  18. 2 environmentally-friendly Skodas have premiered at the International Motor Show 2007(Internationale Automobil-Austellung, IAA 2007) held in Frankfurt am Main. - Octavia FlexFuel: 1.6l engine that accepts normal unleaded and E85 bioethanol. - Fabia Greenline: 1.4 TDI with diesel particulate filter boasting CO2 emissions of 110g/km More information: http://new.skoda-auto.com/COM/about/info/n...tFrankfurt.aspx Hopefully, we will be able to witness the arrival of the Octavia FlexFuel in Singapore in the near future. The Fabia Greenline will be sadly missed, as long as punitive tax structures are still valid for private registered diesel cars in Singapore.

  23. 1. Read from onemotoring website that LTA will approve Superchargers or Turbochargers if fulfill the following items. "The addition of superchargers or turbochargers to a vehicle may adversely affect the safe operation and its exhaust emission characteristics. " 2. Are these requirements achievable? What are those mentioned standards? Regards,
