Dear Mods, I have a little suggestion here. Just wondering if it is feasible to start a sub folder here ~ perhaps under "others" dedicated to parenting? There are lots of forums out there dedicated to parenting no doubt, most of which however are female dominated. Males tend to feel awkward posting there and some may even be seen as chee ko peks, for camping in a female dominated environment. This parenting folder can benefit the MCF community by offering a channel - For experienced fathers to contribute their knowledge - For would be fathers (like myself now) to learn from real life experiences instead of textbook examples It is also an excellent channel to hear the muses, gripes, joys, trials, involvements, know-hows, mostly from a father/male's perspective. Please consider, I'm pretty sure this enables fathers and would be fathers to build cohesion and supports the aims of developing healthy and resilient forumers through a community channel. cheers -
Hi all.. think it's better to shift from the coe thread to this folder, since it's reached 100 pages liao. Also better to have a dedicated TCSS thread so as not to mislead ppl who want to know about COE cars, into reading 100+ pages just to find out that there's only 2-3 pages of useful info. Under others subforum, there are lite and easy, makan and football. Since property discussion is also quite popular, how about adding another folder for property? Jus my suggestion.

I would like to propose the above as since some months ago, the political animals or powerhouse forumers have been running all over and affecting the mood of this wonderful forum. To have their dedicated folder will serve many purposes: 1 it will placate those who are not into political bashing and getting damn sick of the antics of those who like to blame everything on government without logic. It is getting very nauseous. 2 those political animals will have a dedicated channel to voice to vent their angle and frustration and find solace and sympathy there. 3 it will be good for housekeeping. By limiting those of same kind into a folder, it will be easy to handle any fallout from trouble with authority. 4 by limiting viewership, as those not into politics will steer clear of the new folder, the 'movement' will not be encouraged due to limited readership. There are young punks who might be misleaded due to the troubling language and attitude used. This is primarily a car forum after all. Those with ulterior motives or agenda should carry their war elsewhere, and not throw their s--t here. Sincerely hope the mod team will accept this proposal to reduce the adversity level here, and enhance the forum ambience. -

Due to an increasing number of forumers who try to clock posts through senseless inputs in the Garage Sale area, we have decided to remove the post count from the Garage Sale folder. This means that posts made in the Garage Sale folder will not count towards your number of posts. This will only apply to new posts and is with immediate effect.

Just notice, Lite & Ez have been relegated to be a sub-folder in Others.... Now have Makan and football..... how about one more folder... Men Discus Women and another Women discus Men (guess will not be popular).

Hi all, In order to reduce the load on the "Lite & EZ" folder which is bursting with random chatter about everything, we have created 2 new folders. Makan Corner For all foodies! Discuss all about food and the best/worst eating places around! Football Channel All soccer fans, come in here! These 2 topics have been requested by forumers for some time already. Do make use of them to the fullest. Related previously posted in the Lite & EZ folder will be moved to the respective new folders.

Hope this folder will result in a lot of road trip reviews. Please contribute road trip reviews. Our cars are expensive. Must bring them out of country for holidays to save money.

Hi All, As seen, with recent cases of 'unexpected' visitors into the forum. I would like to suggest that we should limit the access of certain folders to registered members only. Having to surf thru a couple of forums. I realised some of them are already doing so, in which I feel it is good move. Currently, you just need to register with us in order to view and post. What I have in mind is, how can we further improve the 'security'/access to prevent unwanted guest. Pros: Users will be more responsible about their posting. Limited access to guest. Cons: Some of you may not feel comfortable disclosing your info to us. Do feel free to post your view. Kindly refrain from drifting. Thanks. Anyone who has any info on service & maintenance parts be it engines or air- con system pertaining to DEAWOO & OPEL , from anywhere, pls kindly post their websites, address or even their phone nos so that we could check it out. Reason for using dealers of Deawoo & Opel is that they already dealing with GM, which developed our AVEOs & Optra. Thanks in Advance Bros 'OOOOh' Bros of mine. .
