hi all... it seems that i have come acrossed a couple of ppl who have changed to Federal 595's after using T1Rs... probabaly due to cost wise... am looking for some comments... am on 16" T1Rs now and am deciding for my next set of tyre change... wanted to get Potenza RE001... but i remember my last set didnt last very long... so thought of saving some $$$ but do not want hopeless tyres on the car... so looking for cheaper but performance tyres from taiwan/Korea/china? *Thought of Nangkang NS-2... looks like performance tyres but couldnt get any sensible reviews... *Federal 595 i think got a few different types right?... have seen them on EVOs too... so i guess cant be that bad... *Hankook RS2 but dont think cheap... *V12 dont look very performance tyre... but i got some vouchers see how much cheaper it will be with the RS2 *Dunlop Direzza the ones in the market are the dz101?...have no idea if its good? thread looks alittle like a performance tyre... but price like alot cheaper than the t1Rs and RE001s... must be lower grade? arghhhh... why buy tyre also so headache ah?....

I saw an ad at the rims section. A set of 18" 2nd hand PS2 going for just $550. I wonder if its a good deal. Its much cheaper than the Federal 595 tyres (the only brand I can afford). Thus I wonder if the PS2 will offer better grip than the 595. Road noise is not a concern for me. I am just more concern with wet grip and durability.

... I thought my previous SS535 gave better feedback, rides harder and no bees... Maybe need to let it scrub in for about 500km. By right should handle better than SS535 right? Was looking for SS535 but no more already. As for the bees, is it because the rubbers are new or balancing not done properly or some other issue? Previous rubbers no such sound de leh, Damage is $300. Now need to learn the new rubbers liao... Any advise on the wong wong sound will be greatly appreciated!

There have been more than 80 lawsuits filed against Toyota in America alone since the Japanese company's Dark Days began. A group of attorneys, representing personal and commercial clients for claims ranging from death to loss of resale value, will argue before a federal panel to have the suits consolidated into less than four score. If they are granted that action, Automotive News is reporting that a panel will also need to decide where the cases should be heard. Toyota would like the gladiatorial jurisprudence to be set in California, while at least one attorney has also mentioned Kentucky (where Toyota has a factory that is among the defendants) and Louisiana as potential locales. Fifteen jurisdictions are being considered, though, and the panel will settle the matter based on factors including convenience to the plaintiffs and defendants, and the expertise a jurist might have in such cases. A decision is expected in a few weeks on those matters. A decision on where Toyota emerges after all dust has cleared remains a long, long, long way off.

hi guys , i'm selling off my federal tires 595 . profile :205/45/16 80 % thread left & it's going for only 160 only....... sms @ 81042794

In terms of price and performance. I'm looking at either of these sizes. 195/55R15, 195/50R15. i think 205/50R15 also can but need to check my rim width. currently using 185/60R15 but they look skinny for the rim. can live with some speedometer error, no worries using it for daily driving where comfort is NOT a concern. just grip. but won't be going to the track (though these are supposedly good track tires) i have tried the RS-2 before, but i think the price is a bit steep. currently using crap tires so i shd start looking. 2006 michelin van tires

Hi, was shopping for a new shoes for my ride and Barum was out of stock and for my size 195/60 I am only limited to FD2 and not the 595 or evo series. Anyone have any good or bad things to say about this model? thanks

Okay, today had no choice but to drag myself to change tyre as my spare tyre finally put in star appearance yesterday I went to Automotive Technology hoping to try BB as I saw what I like and since value for money, why not. Luckily they closed at 3pm. Had a hard time finding the place though. Thank goodness for a friend who brought me there as my GPS aka Street Directory is outdated (2002 ) Upon reaching there, I told Desmond my requirements (no upsizing of tyre, budget less than $100) even though alot of other thread designs caught my eyes. So I asked for BB and he also recommended Fed Formoza FD2 to me. Must say the service there is not bad. They take the time to clean before mounting the new tyres. But, I want to find out if anyone has tried BB (don't think Genie is on BB yet) and asked for reviews.

Hi guys, like to know if anyone used the Federal 595 or 595EVO? Like to gather some feedback on these 2 tyres. Most likely I'm gonna change to the 595EVO. Currently using Toyo T1R 195/55/R15. I've read that the BMW-Sg forum guys are using the 595RS (semi-slick) and 595 for tracking.

Hi All, Booked a set of Federal SS595 Tyres 195/55/15 (ultra high performance at $64 w/out gst) at the motorshow...just checking with you all if any1 of you have heard of these tyres...apparently these are quite popular Downunder and they are manufactured in Taiwan. Hi guys, is anyone here using or had any experience with Federal's Formoza FD1? Did some research and its supposed to be a quiet comfort tyre, looked around and was quoted $115 for 215/60/R16. More info: http://www.federaltire.com/en/html/product.php?DB=touring# UTQG Rating Treadwear Traction Temperature 460 A A Would appreciate any valuable inputs. Driver is gentle and seldom goes above 110km/h on the expressway. Thanks
