Today, 03:44 PM I believe all new and past hdb owner have potex toilet and flushing system installed. If your water keep on flowing from tank to toilet bowl then your dounut shape gasket below the plunger must have spoiled. I manage to found silicone type replacement for potex brand at this place and walaa it stop flowing endlessly. I found mine at rivervale plaze near punggol a hardware shop called hardware 88 trading, i can't believe i can find the exact fix.Anyone thinking of changing without buying a whole cistern can consider.Homefix also have silicone gasket but not suitable for potex cistern as it was too thin and single layer. Another type of leak is the 50cent size washer inside the ball float arm that will cause the refill to flow non stop easy to buy and fix too. . potex a sanitary brand from malaysia installed on new hbd flats a decade ago.i help you hope next time you guys can help me back too.

Hi, I did a drain and fill thrice (at 60k, 70k and 76k) even though manual says its good for 100k miles (lifetime). Reason is slight sluggishness during gear shifts at 60k and during change fluid is milky dark brown. Even during the 3rd change at 76k, saw that the fluid is still milky darkbrown (though the sluggishness disappeared since the 1st change) Mechanic suggest a transmission flush through the fluid cooler lines (he has done it for the older 4 speed model but not this 6 speed). I was a bit surprised coz when I did my first change, was told that this transmission cannot be flush. This mechanic says the Cruze cannot be flushed (same transmission) but he *thinks* the Epica can as the cooler lines are different. What's the risk if I go ahead and attempt to flush as the milky look does not seems to be getting better ? Will I end up with a bigger problem (the net has conflicting advice to flush or not to flush) Or should I just be patient and continue to drain and fill at every 10k ? Am I throwing away my money ? (The whole transmission including the cooler uses about 10L and each drain and fill can only change 5L which part of the old oil will always be there though getting diluted by the new oil.)

Hi Bros, I have not done a ATF flushing ever! and my ride is hitting 50km... Wondering whether i should do one???

Hi, Need 10L for my ATF flushing - Riverview charges $12.50 / quart for their Mitsubishi DIAQUEEN ATF. Any suggestions? Royal Purple's going for like $17.50. Expensive... thanks!

I may not be correct but this is my experience. I bought a bottle of Voltronic engine flush (those type which you just add to oil and idle for 10-15min before draining). After I replace the oil, I realised that the engine was not smoother than before. My FC actually went up. I gotten around 1KM less per litre of petrol. I need around 600KM before the engine feels good and FC back to normal. I am guessing that the engine flush actually removed too much things esp. the anti-wear and friction reducing coatings that were left behind, hence causing more friction. Thus, it may not be a great idea to flush the engine except when you really need to clean the sludgetc (if there is any). If the engine is well maintained with regular oil change, then it may not be necessary to flush at all.

for 20k KM servicing, is it necessary to do engine flushing? thanks
-
Am currently driving a Lancer... Like to know the need to do engine oil flush and ATF flush at 40KM servicing... understand that flushing will clear out the old oil and fluid, so that the new oil or fluid will run in the engine and auto-transmission... If you ask any workshop, believe they will tell u that flushing is better than replacing the oil and fluid.... of cause flushing will be more expensive so is flushing really required at 40k servicing?

on wat milage do i need to do the above? any good w/s to recommand? anybody heard of alpha plus air con oil? any feedback?

Hi Bro & Sis, Anyone done ATF flushing before,is it neccessary to do so or just change the ATF witout flushing? There is also mineral and fully synthetic ATF right? How much will be the flushing heard it need @8-10 lit ATF to do flushing.

I am currently driving a Protege and I close to my 40k servicing which requires ATF fluid change. The authorised workshop recommended me to do a flushing during the change to clean the gearbox and also prolong the lifespan. However, the flushing will cost much more due to the usage of more ATF Fluid. Is it required to flush ATF durin change esp when car is still new around 40k mileage?

Hi, I read from the Hyundai Club Forum that Khang's Auto Trans (KATC) is offering Flushing with Transmission Warranty. To let everyone knows. Happy New Year and let us have a dry New Year w/o tsunami. Saishimi is fantastic but tsunami is devastating.

Hi Bros! I wonder if you guys have any reliable/good experience with any particular workshop that flush ATF especially for CVT? Is it true that flushing requires more ATF fluid? If normally require need 4 litres, then flsuhing needs how much? Thanks
