Hey guys, i'm contemplating whether to renew one of my company's BMW 523i F10 Highline. Below are some of the mods/upgrade i'm intending to do if i eventually get the car. Assuming the car is in 100% stock condition, i'd like some advice on the dos & don't from fellow tiong chia hia dis. 19" M sports Rims (What is the best tyre profile?) Shock Absorbers/Suspensions LCI Headlights ( The squarish headlights instead of the stock round ones.) Keyless Entry + Electronic Push Button (Not sure whether it comes with it?) M Sports Steering Wheel Chip tuning (Increase Torque/Bhp. Understand from some friends need to change Air Intake or something like that.) Quad Exhaust (LTA Friendly?) Interior change to Maroon (Any Idea where can find for this 10 Year Old Bimmer) Brembo Brake Kit (No idea what is 4 pot or 6 pot and which is sufficient) Key FOB (Any idea if can use the latest gen G Series Keys to Sync on an F10 Key?) Upgrade on display I'm also intending to do my own servicing + changing of filters. Need some advice on the type of EO and Filters for better performance.

Despite many manufacturers equipping their cars with many safety systems onboard their cars, they do not make the car immune to the laws of physics as we can see from these videos below. front.MP4 We got hold of these videos via some of the various random group chats that have been circulating it and from the looks of it, the accident happened earlier this morning (9 Jan 2020) while the roads were greasy from the drizzle over the day. We are not sure which part of the ECP highway this is but what is clear is that the camera car was driving at his own pace on lane 2 before (what looks like) a group of 3 BMW F10 5 series overtaking the camera car. Kudos to BMW for building a decently strong car. Despite the seriousness of the crash, the car still looked like it held up pretty well. Anyway, with the recent rainy weather, do take extra care when on the roads and make sure your tyres have enough thread!

hi, my friend has a 520i bought 2 years already. since day 1, the car will vibrate when stop at traffic light in Drive mode. this is of course with the engine still running, idling at traffic lights. can feel the whole car vibrate from the feet and whole seat. every passenger can feel it. It happens the whole day even after warming up. the worst part is that his mechanic at PML says it is normal for this model. they even let my friend test sit the demo car to prove that their demo car has the same vibration. i help my friend search on BMW forums but no one complain of this permanent vibration. only some people complain of intermittent vibrations which goes away after warm up. anyone who drives 520i or has friends who has driven 520i, please comment whether yours got vibrate at idle?

The new F10 BMW M5 is a 4 door super car. This basically sums up the newly launched M Division BMW 5 series in one sentence. It has 552bhp in its standard form and it already looks DaBomb, if one were to use a little street talk, in its stock form. It already has its full colours shown with its aggressive bodykit, wheels and fat taippipes. But this actually does not stop tuners from having a go at it and AC Schnitzer has basically done so with the AC Schnitzer ACS5 BMW M5 F10. What comes out of this is some 'aero' tuning and a power upgrade package. In terms of power or performance, the ACS5 M5 gets a 60bhp upgrade bringing the power up to 612bhp from 552bhp. Torque is bumped up from 750Nm to 790Nm. Another upgrade is that the stock speed limited it upped from about 260km/h to around 305km/h. The ACS5 looks promsing. Until I saw the photo of it with a boy-racer GT wing. Why may I ask is it doing on a car like this? I somehow wonder why would anyone run a GT wing on a car that isn't an actual race car and one that is actually too big to actually go racing. If you've ever sat in the F10 5 series you'd know that it it actually as large as the interior of a F01 BMW 7series. This is because the F10's chassis is based on the F01's chassis. Hence the luxury of space inside one. The only race that the car could enter safely and not look like a sore thumb or like Lady Gaga at an awards ceremony is at the Australia V8 supersaloon races. Anyway, the car is a grown man's sports saloon and it should not have goalposts sticking out of it. Also note that AC Schnitzer has not really gone overboard with the exception of the rear GT wing. And they have also shown the car san wing, making it look very much like the stock car with the exception of the larger wheels ans tyres and that ridiculous stickers at the sides of the car. It shows that the standard BMW M5 looks pretty good as it is and does not need any extra help in the styling department. I however do dig that funky engine cover that could be an option for a customer to purchase.

BMW has now given us a preview on how the 2011/12 BMW 6 series is going to look like. The almost production ready 6 series Coupe Concept is based on the F10 5series and has several styling touches taken from the BMW Grand Coupe Concept that was shown at the Beijing Auto Show a few months ago. Now that BMW is launching the new F10 model 5 Series I thought it would be a good time to look at the outgoing 5 series as I recently had the opportunity to have a go in one a few days back. The 5 series in question was a 2006 E60 M Sport body kitted 530i with a 268bhp straight six engine (2006 models had new magnesium/aluminum crankcase but without Electronic throttle like the 2007 models), 18 inch 245/40/18 tires and was just purchased by this pal of mine through a grey importer. It had 40,000km (supposedly) on its clock and was in a dark midnight blue colour. It has to be said that I do not like the over designed style of this current 5 series. At least it is not like the previous generation 7 series which had too many lines going everywhere and made that car look very incoherent in design. But enough about how the car looks. I drove the 530i through a mix of downtown lunch-hour traffic jam as well as elevated highways and normal three lane expressways for a few hours and we ended up at a tire shop to get a fresh set for tires for the car. This was due to the fact that the car was sitting at some Japanese port as well as a Malaysian port for long periods of time and the tires had flat-spotted. The change to fresh tires as well as getting rid of those standard run flat rubbish made the car a whole lot better. But more on that later. Hopping into a BMW is like getting into any of the big three German car manufacturers. The usage of leather, wood and plastic is more or less the same but it is in my opinion that among Audi, Mercedes and BMW, the former two make better interiors than the latter. There
