Hi guys, A quick check on how muXh you spend on petrol (brand) and the discounts per car per month. As the highest recurring expense in owning a car. How much are we actually spending on petrol during the years we own a car. For me, I pump with a company fleet card. Esso98 (brand) 65litres (full tank X 4/mth ) 13% (fleet card) Projected petrol expenses per year = $5971.68 @ $2.2/litres How about yours?

A man and his ever-nagging wife went on vacation in middle-east and Jerusalem . While they were there, the wife suffered fatal heart attacked and passed away. The undertaker told the husband, "You can have her buried here in the Holy Land for $150 or another option is we can have her shipped back home for $5,000" The husband thought about it very seriously and made his firmed decision, he instructed the undertaker he would have her shipped back home . The undertaker asked him, "why would you spend $5,000 to have her shipped home when you could have a holy burial here, and it just only cost you $150 ?" The husband replied, "Not too long ago, a man died here and was happy to buried here, three days later, he rose up from his dead . I just can't take that chance to happen !"

Every year, the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) pits cars and drivers in a series of two, three or four-day events though some of the toughest, and most varied, conditions on the planet. The roads on this epic motorsport adventure range from the ice and snow of Scandinavia to the stifling heat of Jordan

I find it strange that some people are unwilling to spend more on stuff that are more useful / helpful/relevant to them but have no qualms on spending thousands on a set of rims and tyres or ICE. For example: - Home improvements so everyone else in the family can live more comfortably - Better entertainment system at home - A better bed (spend an average 8 hrs a day on it) - A better laptop or bigger monitor (spend so many hrs staring or using it) etc. For me, usually I try to put car expenses last cos I dont use it everyday and at most i spend is just 2 hours a day on it but sometimes of course give in to the odd performance part or set of rims going at a good price. I always thought money can be better spent elsewhere. What about you? Does your car expenses (wants spending) dictate your total expenditure?

Good day gentlemen and maybe ladies here, i will like to find out the expenses for a 2.4l car vs 1.6l. other than the obvious road tax, insurance n car price, did anyone receive any rude shock after 'upsizing'? i heard servicing and even small parts for luxury vehicles cost alot more, myth or fact? yet to do some research personally. oh yes, one consolation: parking and ERP is the same... will like to know the figures before committing to anything. TIA!
