Hi , I am trying to avoid spending money on MS Office as my usage basically is preparing invoices ,doing spreadsheet for stocks and pricing and from time to time publish product flyers for sales purpose. I am think of using OpenOffice, if you happen to be using this free program I will be most happy to hear from you. TIA

I had just changed all my struts for my near 7 yr old 170,000km ride as stock one has no comfort especially rough roads (wear and tear). However after changing I noted that the ride is still more on the harsh side or similar as before but cornering is better and stable. Is it normal to let it run for a while to be comfortable as original? I also hear the tyre noise like something like "galloping" tyre roar. Not so prominent. is it normal? Also changing of new struts warrant a alignment need? The steering is still dead straight when driving.. Pls advise.

Hi Excel experts, I see recently some of you gave some solutions to excel formula so I hope someone can help me. I'm a novice. I would like to have a forumula that counts the Characters in a Cell. Say : A1B2C3 means there are 6 characters, what formula to use to count it ?? Thanks,

To all Excel Gurus here, How do you assign an alphabet to a number? Example: A=1 B=2 C=3 Until Z.. So when I enter 10K it will show 111. Do i need to enter code in VBA? Are there any functions to do this? Thanks in advance..

hey bros n sis.. need help.. might sound stupid.. but really dunno why like dat.. cant rmb when it all started... whenever u hit [enter] on the keyboard, the selected cell in MS Excel will go down the the cell below the cell u were in before hitting [enter].. but dunno since when whenever i hit [enter], it doesnt go down.. it still remain at where it is.. this caused me taking up lotsa time when i m doing some data entry.. dunno if i described my problem clear enough.. how can i revert back to normal? was it some settings i have changed accidentally that caused this?

The result I am looking for is the OT hour clocked would be reflected as in terms of eg 0.25, 0.5, 0.5, 0.75. This I can get by eg divide by 60 but how could I get it if the hour clocked in is 1.0 hr?

get this error when trying to upload Excel file (.xls): Upload failed. You are not permitted to upload this type of file is it a bug or is uploading Excel file really not allowed?

I know some bro here are expert with computer programme. I have a problem here. It goes like this: Currently I am using Vista with MS Office 2007 system. We all knew that we are able to share excel file with 2003 office by save it with lower end. My proble is: whenever I opened a file and working on it, it will hanged half way if I were to do a function, ex like either I say change a font cell, change a cell color, it will hanged and the title on top will mention "Microsoft Excel..."file name"... not responding" and if I simple just clip the mouse, the screen will dim.. and when I closed "Not responding' message informing me that the excel will restart prompt up. ps: so far this only happen when i opened a 'shared' file... have not try to creat one new file though.. any advise?? thank in advance

been looking around and seem like Palm TX is the only PDA tat have this function. understand tat this had been in the mkt for some time. anybody use this b4? or is there any other better PDA tat can meet my above requirement?
