  1. Do you have a neighbor or neighbor cars when you park your car as in the same cars parking side by side with yours when you park your car in your regular places like your home carpark or your workplace carpark? What's the reason you like to park beside this particular car/cars? E.g. Won't slam doors on mine, real neighbors, park together against community car theft/crimes, like the car.
  2. Both credit cards also got rebate system. I have been using Citibank Dividend cards for few years. Enjoying quite good rebates from them regularly. Recently backside itchy go and apply the POSB Everyday card. Wanna ask anyone who is familiar on both cards, which cards give more rebates and provide more benefits?
  3. Imagine you are the driver [sweatdrop] But got that tinkling feeling that this particular case seemed to be staged.... Anyway there are all sorts of characters on the roads so just watch out & not only be safe, play safe also. From STOMP: http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/stomp/sg...ore_is_bad.html Posted on 02 Apr 2012 Bizarre road rage in Poland: Biker threatens driver with axe If you thought road rage in Singapore is bad, you would be shocked by what happens in Poland. This guy chases people who honk at him, with an axe! This video has been gaining popularity online. It shows a biker waiting at the traffic light. Despite the fact that the light turned green, he remains stationary. The vehicle behind honks at him. On the second honk, the biker takes out an axe and chases the other driver, who reverses to avoid getting chopped. Said STOMPer Rai: "That was scary. "And I thought people who shouted at each other were unreasonable. "Who goes around with an axe anyway?"
  4. My habit has been not to redeem the rebate amount when using my POSB Everyday card for petrol payment. Just realised the other day that it has accumulated to close to $1000! Working backward, I would have pumped $1000/6% = $16k of petrol to accumulate this rebate amount! Just curious anyone can do better? I am actually quite proud of this as I believe most would just redeem the rebate after hitting certain amount for whatever reasons. |Anyway bear in mind this is just a trivial thing, nothing outstanding haha. Just need abit of discipline to achieve - 3 years + to be exact. Those who have been using the card for other expenses would have taken a shorter time to achieve it.

  7. My neighbour's sec sch boy has been bringing his friends back to play mahjong everyday since last Dec. Even though they throw their fast-food waste outside the rubbish chute and mess up the place, we all just ignore them. A few weeks ago, they moved their mj table outside the flat to the lift landing and played there. As a result, we can hear them though our unit is far away fr the lift. When I came home just now, I could hear them 'washing the tiles' fr ground floor. No kidding, I'm staying on the highest flr, more than 10 floors. Never mind, I tell myself to ignore, coz that family is typical zero upbringing family. But when I step out of the lift and head towards my unit, one of them said 'happy new year 新年快乐' I continued to walk, immediately a string of vulgarities followed. Obviously he not happy I ignore him. I have decided to take action, which is the relevant authority to contact? I don't know if they are using chips to gamble, coz I nvr want to look at them. And they are obviously hooligans, my mum heard the boy quarrelling with his friends and they threaten to splash red paint on his doors. However they were back playing mj the next day. I will even call the police, but my concern is, would they say it's none of their business if they not using gambling chips?
  8. I am sure some of you have been put off by smell of suede leather footwear. The problem is not really because your feet stink but rather it is the propensity of suede leather to absorb sweat which makes the leather a hotbed for bacteria to propagate. This explains why hard leather and PVC is less susceptible to such an issue. I have discovered (forgive me if i am slow) that by squirting alcohol (industrial ethanol) or even nail varnish remover liberally over the commonly moist areas of your suede leather footwear, it helps to nullify the stink as alcohol literally kills bacteria. Please contribute any of your home remedies for life's daily problems.
  9. Feel abit sianz of what you are doing? not passionate about your job? things not exactly going you want? Struggling to meet your Kpis? But cannot quit cos you need your monthly pay? Anyone like that and what are you going to do about it?

  11. http://health.asiaone.com/Health/News/Stor...119-101856.html Kidney middleman fails appeal, goes to jail THE middleman in the illegal kidney-for-sale case started his 14-month jail term on Wednesday afternoon, after the High Court dismissed his appeal.Justice V. K. Rajah, sending out a message that organ trafficking will not be tolerated in Singapore, said the sentence was 'amply justified.' Wang Chin Sing, 44, received the stiffest sentence among four men who have been sentenced in the case. Ailing retail magnate Tang Wee Sung, 56, who bought a kidney through Wang, was fined a total of $17,000 and jailed a day. An Indonesian man who offered his kidney to Mr Tang was jailed two weeks, while another Indonesian man who sold his kidney to another recipient, Ms Juliana Soh, was jailed 3 1/2 months and fined $2,000. The strangest thing is that the person who initiated it and stand to benefit the most got the least punishment I stand to be corrected, I understand from news that the doctor who was involved, acted blur and said that the BOARD Ok it BUT I was told the doctor was the chairman of the board and he got away free if the above is true, than we have a possible sicko 911 farenhient in the making any movie producer here action, action take ONE
