When they were planning and building the expressways, didn't it occur to them that this will always cause a traffic jam due to lane-changing and possibly high chance of accidents??

where is the carpark entrance ? normally i park far away and walk there, oso i donno where is the entrance. and the car park at both side of road and lot of ppl walk on the road not easy to drive. So do u ppl drive there ???

I go home every evening and find a jam at the KPE entrance from airport road. Some crazy idiot put a traffic light there which toggles every second when there is a car coming out from the airbase. It is because that idiot put sensors in the ground to detect traffic on the main road, the small road from the airbase, BUT FORGOT to put sensor on the lane going into the KPE.... So basically, although there is a huge jam of cars waiting to get into KPE, the traffic light doesn't know and turns red the moment a car appears from the airbase..... To make matters worse, there is NO NEED for a traffic light on the slip road leading to KPE as the cars from the airbase cannot turn into the slip road... So basically, all of us is waiting for nothing. So there is a long queue of cars trying to get into KPE every evening. I have called LTA last month and until now still like that. Anyone have any ideas? LTA number: 1800 - 2255 582 maybe if more people call, someone will fix the problem. -
As above, anyone seen them before? There will be 2 or 3 people stting at the entrance on the entrance taking down the number plate of every cars that turn in. They will be there from morning to night. What are they doing?

noticed an entrance in the 2nd CTE tunnel southbound towards AYE.. it's just before the Havelock Rd exit.. there is no lane markings on it and no merging lane from it.. anyone knows where does it come from?

Did anyone see the above-mentioned around 8plus this morning? Involving 2 lady drivers both driving Hyundai Getz, one red and the other yellow..

On the way home yesterday (06/04/09), after the Benjamin Sheares bridge on the ECP towards Airport at about 1830 hrs, I witnessed a Toyota Crown Silvercab..I think rearend a dark blue Opel Vectra Hatchback in Lane 4. I was driving about 20 metres in the 3rd lane and I saw that this dark blue Opel was trying to filter into the entrance of the KPE but was unable to do so because the traffic was not giving it way. Suddenly, the Opel came to a complete stop when it got close to the separating barrier and the taxi slammed into the back of this car. I think the taxi driver did not expect it as the road was clear infront of the Opel. So... I'm doing my civic duty by willing to be a witness for the taxi. I don't think he would be able to win the case but at least the blame won't be 100% his. If there are taxi uncles here or something, you can inform your brethren. I didn't post this in the taxi forum (Seems dead there).

After exiting Stevens Road into PIE....and entering BKE, to the left and right of me, were 5 accidents separately over the whooe stretch......total, about 25 cars, and at the Eng Neo entrance, closed cos of fallen tree... What's wif the drivers here??? Rain, and cannot control ah...or tailgate, and thus cannot stop intime KNN..workshops must be giving big bonus man -
anyone know where is the road entrance to Ritz Carlton? I was driving the roads surrounding the Hotel but cant seem to find the inroad entrance into the main lobby/ drop off point... anyone pls advise..thanks

just noticed that there is a speed indicator on the left side just before the bend at the slip road entrance to PIE (Tuas) from Tampines SAFRA yesterday. I was driving past it when it flashed 61 kph & i looked at my speedo which was ard 60 kph. this morning i passed by it again, and in front of me were cars & the display panel also flashed some fig. i drove slower ard 55 kph & the display flashed 54 kph. wonder what this is for ? perhaps to warn you before the bend ? or catch u speeding & summon u ???
