There was a press release on the Enhanced Baby Bonus packages and its effective date of 1 Jan 2009 this afternoon. Following which was an uproar by expecting Mums who are dued to deliver in this year who will be missing out on the new benefits. What are your views?

hi all, need advice from those who attended the RT sessions under the new IPPT scheme (9 months window for IPPT, then 3 months for RT). first time kena RT.. need to know if we have to go for all 20 compulsory sessions or not? Or is there an IPPT session conducted on the 1st or 4th or whichever session, after which if i pass i need not go for RT anymore? tried searching ns.sg and mindef website, they did not mention anything about this. damn sian to go RT.. sibeh waste time sia.

I'm kinda interested in this phone. I don't mind the lack of FM Radio - wouldn't have a chance to use it anyway. Any MCFers here using one? What do you like about it? Any issues? How about the battery life? How long does a full charge last you with normal usage? How's the touch sensitivity? How's messaging like? Do you use the stylus, or is the HTC touchscreen keyboard sufficient and easy to use?

Transport Minister Datuk Seri Chan Kong Choy said once implemented, the e-plate, which uses a microchip with Radio Frequency Identification, would become available to everyone buying new cars.
