Folks, I am not a wine person. In fact, I don't even drink beer. I have this bottle of D.O.M benedictine wine which has been lying in my house for quite some time and decide to open to try. The taste is a bit too strong for me and oops... I remember I have a mild hypertension issue as well as a minor GERD/ acid reflux problem. And I suddenly recall that alcohol might not be too good for my health. Do you folks drink this and has there been any significant health benefits or concerns? Thanks for you inputs!

Effects of car braking after changing of brake pad
Sash1401 posted a topic in General Car Discussion
Fellow bros, I recently juz changed my front disc brake pad from autobacs. According to the technician that the brake will not be as sensitive now and it might take a few weeks for the brakes to get normal. I'm feeling the less effective brakes now when i'm driving. Seemed like i need to depress even deeper to feel the brakes. Is dis normal? If not, shld i go bk to autobacs nw to ask as they told me it will take a few weeks for the brakes to b fine. Pls advise..... Thanks -
Any long term side-effects if keep changing different petrol brands/grades & also engine oil? Coz each time we change engine oil & top up petrol, sure have a few % left of the previous brand. Concern about engine internal cleaniness. Been doing that to my bikes before (now on bike no. 6); so far ok ok. For my current 1st car; abit cautious..

Dear Starlet folks, Would like to find out from you guys if you have tried using thinner engine oil on older engines. If you have used a thinner oil, did you experience a significant improvement in FC? Have you experienced any bad side effects when you use e.g. 5W30 compared to the thicker 5W40? Thanks for sharing.

Just changed from 195/50/16 to 205/45/16, retain rims. So according to tire calc website, the new tyres diameter smaller, and speedo shows faster than actual speed. So this will definitely affect the FC right? Like the trip meter will show more or less than the actual distance covered? Because I noticed that there's an improve in FC after changing the tyres. How should I then calculate the actual FC? Like a % discount in the actual distance recorded? The tyre size calculator websites only tell u the difference in speedo readings. Tks.

OK I do not have pictures so the NPNT thing will sure come up but there is a reason for it. OK at 60k, I took out the plugs to inspect since the UOA reported that I was running rich. The plugs are covered with a brown/red residue. I did not take a picture. That is why I show you the picture of my plugs now, it does not mean anything. The brown residue is indicative that there is a petrol additive that has covered it. It is normal according to some websites. I have been using FP60 since then. The plugs now have the healthy blacken look on them indicative of clean combustion. The white ceramic can still be seen. No more additive residue. What does it prove? I'm not saying anything. I don't have the before and after pictures to prove anything.

The most beautiful feeling. The car became very quiet in its operation. The battery enables it to start w/o that initial high rev that later goes down to idle.

OK..... now that I have put in the most basic of sound systems..... the sound quality has improved many times over compared to the stock setup and I'm very satisfied from that aspect. But I now face another problem..... my car's power is sapped as well. I no longer feel the strong thrust in the back feel when I floor the pedal. I've even added a 1 farad capacitor in the hope of gaining back the lost power.... but its no use. Can someone familiar with this phenomenon advise how to go about gaining back my car's power? Would a higer rated battery do the job? Thanks.

Hi guys, Just sent my Ignis 1.3L for servicing today and I bought along 4 bottles of RP. The mech told me 4 bottles were not enough and I need approx. another 1/2 a bottle. But, 1 bottle = 1 quart = 0.95L, therefore 4 bottles should be enough as the car manual stated 3.8L of engine oil with oil filter. What are the effects of too little/too much engine oil?

Hi all, Recently I have developed the nasty habit of not turning off my engine when my car is not moving (e.g., when I am waiting for someone)..sometimes, for periods of up to 2 hours! This was partly due to ignorance on my part about the effects of engine idling. As I do not anticipate that I will be stopping the waiting game any time soon, I went in search of what engine idling for too long might do to your car. Here's what I have to share:- Q: Is it more economical and fuel-efficient to leave my car running for a few minutes than to constantly turn it off and on? A: No. If you
