Auxiliary cop's gun goes off inside a toilet at MRT station AsiaOne Mon, Mar 21, 2011 An auxiliary policeman fired his gun by accident inside a toilet at Bukit Gombak MRT station around 7pm yesterday. No casualties were reported. The 29-year-old CISCO officer had accidentally touched his gun while zipping his pants in the toilet, which pulled the trigger and fired the gun. Fortunately, the stray bullet did not injure him or any others in the toilet at that time. The officer, who had joined CISCO one year ago, had undergone training on gun handling. The police spent over four hours searching for the bullet that he fired by accident, only ending the search at 11.30pm. Investigations on the accidental misfire are ongoing. The CISCO officer has been temporarily suspended from duty in order to assist police with investigations. He was on duty when the incident happened, escorting personnel who were retrieving money

Need help from forumers here.May I know what's a discharged voucher?I got into a accident 2 months back with a dumper truck.Below is the content of the mail. i,owner of "my car", hereby agree to accept/acknowledge receipt the sum of $5012.05 in full satisfation and discharged of all claims,expenses,costs,causes of action(whether now apparent or not) which i might hereafter have but for this payment and receipt against <accident vehicle company> and/or the said insurers,involving vehicle no. <lorry no. plate> arising from the accident on 5.5.2009 along Toa Payoh Lor "X". In consideration of the above,I hereby confirm that <accident vehicle company> and or <lorry Insure> shall not be liable for any further claim or claims whatsoever in connection with the above accident.It is agreed that this payment is made without admission of liability. I also declare that I am the person entitled to receive the above compensation and hereby undertake to indemnifying <accident vehicle company> and/or <lorry insurer> against any claim made or which may be made by any person in respect of this compensation. in further consideration of my request for <lorry insurer> to pay the agreed settlement sum of $5012.05 to <my repair company>,I hereby declare that I have neither paid for the cost of repairs nor the loss of use of my vehicle and the payment of the said settlement sum shall be in full discharge of my total claim arising out of this accident.
