    Used Psu

Anyone knows a shop where I can get used Psu for a dell optiplex 980 ? Not getting a new one coz I am doing trial and error to see what is wrong with my PC. Now is cannot switch on, but when I open the cover, there is light on the mother board.
  2. If you have one read on: http://arstechnica.com/security/2015/11/dell-does-superfish-ships-pcs-with-self-signed-root-certificates/ Dell's response http://en.community.dell.com/dell-blogs/direct2dell/b/direct2dell/archive/2015/11/23/response-to-concerns-regarding-edellroot-certificate
  3. Hi guys need some guidance from the bros here. Am looking for a all-in-one big screen (27" and above) high reso (ABOVE 1080p, at 2,560x,1440) all in one desktop and I can only find the below two options. I have to confess I am not a great Apple fan boy and find their products over priced and this seems to be confirmed in the price and specs comparisons. The Dell XPS 27" has touch-screen, HDMI in and output, has optical drive which is absent from the iMac. The adjustable stand is also a benefit as I do lots of swiping (and toggling maps) in high resos so laying it flat helps a lot for touch interface. Anyway I am trying to keep an open mind so I am throwing this poll and discussion tread out to the bros here and will appreciate their feedback and guidance. BTW one of the other options I considered was to use a UHD 55" TV as a monitor, but its just not the same. Screen is to large so I need something smaller for more focused work and play. Here are the write-ups on both PCs from Cnet to help start the tread rolling; 1) Dell XPS 27" : http://www.cnet.com/products/dell-xps-one-27-all-in-one-desktop/ 2) iMac 27" : http://www.cnet.com/products/apple-imac-2013/ Thank you in advance
  4. Hi anyone knows contact to make complaints to Dell? Bought Dell parts from them to repair my laptop n even paid for onsite servicing but the person never came.
  5. Hi i am trying to find a replacement tablet phone for my HTC HD2. I love the HD2 for its 4.3" screen. Its great for watching youtube and websurfing and pics and movies and songs. But the typing and texting is terrible. I have to type very slowly. And the phone also hangs alot and reboots and I have the clear the memory cache regularly. So i am soucing for 2 possible replacements tablet phones. I like the Samsung Galaxy Tab because of its size (7") but it may not fit into my pocket. So the Dell Streak at 5" appears a better choice. Except that this is Dell's first foray into the mobile tablet phone market so i guess the Dell Streak is their guinea pig. Plus it does not look as nice as the samsung tab. So do share your views with me and your recommendations...oh yeah i wont get the Ipad (1 or 2). The thing cant even make calls and video conference...thats more of a fad fun gadget than a real working tool. No offence i need the tablet to also work with and that included doing excel and word and pdf. Thanks
  6. Hi All, Anyone has purchase and use Dell Streak Mobile Tablet? Pls kindly comment. Thanks

  8. Here's something I got off AvantGo-CNet News.....wonder if they'll be bundling an iPod with a Fiesta next.... "Ford Motor Company is giving away a Dell desktop computer with the purchase of its 2005 model-year Focus car, in addition to a $2,000 cash rebate. Both Ford and rival General Motors raised profit-eroding consumer incentives on most slow-selling vehicles earlier this month after posting disappointing U.S. sales in January. The two Detroit automakers entered 2005 with high inventories of unsold vehicles and trimmed targeted production this quarter. Ford is also offering a $500 cash rebate, in addition to other hefty discounts, to millions of full-time college students and recent graduates seeking to buy or lease a Ford or Lincoln Mercury vehicle, the company said on Tuesday. Ford, which saw U.S. sales drop 5.4 percent last month, said the rebate was available to students currently enrolled in college, trade or graduate school, as well as any student who has graduated or will graduate between May 1, 2003 and Jan. 2, 2006. The second-largest U.S. automaker said about 15.1 million students across the United States are eligible for the rebate, which will remain on offer through January 2006. Ford, which recently eased its lending policies to offer more loans to younger buyers, is currently offering interest-free financing for up to five years on most sport utility vehicles and some pickup trucks. Some vehicles are excluded from the student rebate program including the gas-electric or hybrid version of Ford's compact Escape SUV, the company said. "
