I am sure there are way too may polish company out there. Some have mention 9H hardness Some say glass coating other says ceramic coat But is there like a standard where optical brightness or coating before and after have a benchmark of quality that you can identify with other than, wah swee. Polish liao kilat kilat. May not mean much. Plus you spending a $1xxx into it. Only to have word of mouth from one person to the next. Is there like a tick, check box like window tint to validate the shine ?

Spin off from the earlier thread which was locked... Just wondering how you blokes out there perceive or define how a man's financial responsibilities are - in a marriage? There's no right or wrong, I guess largely, it also depends on a person's upbringing and family environment. I strongly believe that husband and wife should both contribute financially. Doesn't matter who contributes more, mostly the man, but its the core principle that a marriage is shared responsibilities and hence, in a world where women are increasingly independent and demands equality, I reckon this is fair practice. Marriage is a partnership, and with dual contribution, the potential to achieve greater things grows 2 fold. Of course, I know of many women who disagrees... So just wanna hear your views.

Anyone can advise how to define shipping charges for online shopping? if i want to sell something online but how do i tell buyer how much to pay for freight? assuming im selling small items, i understand registered local mail flat rate is $2.50 but what if customer buy more and how do I charge them accordingly? any mechanism to calculate? i intend to setup online website selling stuff. i tot of using paypal to link the transaction but the problem lies with deciding how much to charge on shipping. Do you think if I sell in gmarket will be better off? I simply link my website w catalog directly to gmarket? not only can attract my buyers who visit my website, i can also sell to gmarket buyers who happen to browse for items?

How would do define success for yourself and how does that differ or similiar to what the average Singaporean thinks of as success. Most of us will admit having money is important as a criteria for a defined successfully peson, but what is it that you would wish to do with that money. Buy cars or property so that others will defined you as successful or get your children to the Harvard or Oxford or buying all the blink gold chains to show you have the $? Or even having people love you can be a define successful person? How would you define success?

Was at HDB today for my appointment after selling my flat. Looked around and saw Punggol Spectra being offered on BTO but to apply online. They are actually building 2,3 and 4 bedrooms together as one precinct. Two bedroom flat starts from S$89,000. The 4 bedrooms start from 249K till 290K or thereabout. The prices seem to be a bit lower but the catch is that to buy a two bedroom HDB flat you have to eran less than 2k(household). So I believe very few will qualify. Be quick if you interested cos it will stop on 14th Sept. You need to "qualify" as a low income earner though. What is happening to HDB now? The prices seem unreal for a "subsidised" flat. We are supposed to be in a recession ......... notwithstanding the official spin doctor clarification from HDB that it is still affordable. Guess what I can actually qualify to apply from HDB again and get subsidised price without paying the levy cos I can "tag' my mom as the seller.
