Hi, Just want to check with you guys here, currently I am driving a 1.5year old odyssey. Bought it before the COE went skyrocketed. Hence now if I were to dispose the car on the 2nd hand market I can get some cash back on top of outstanding value. I was tempted by the offer by C&C for the new C180/C200. After calculating with pumping in the money after I sold my ody off, it should be more or less the same for installments monthly just that there will be no 'positive' returns if I will to dispose my car at any time. I am wondering if its a smart move to change from MPV 2.4 to a sedan 1.6/1.8. Generally the space is not much a consideration, but not sure if the power loss will be expected from a slightly lower cc car. Yes I do agree my heart sways to the finishing of the merc but logically I should hold onto the odyssey right as value wise its still positive value in some sense unless I were to drive till the end of lifespan of the car. So should I consider the change? Many thanks for the advise. P.S. Nothing to do with the badge thing. Just looking for comparism of value for money worth.

If a report from Japan's Best Car is to be believed, Toyota will delay the release of the FT-86 from 2011 to 2013. The reasons behind the delay are varied, and include a different design direction, the economic slowdown and possibly a revised powertrain strategy that could include some kind of hybrid motivation. As reported previously, the original FT-86 concept was just that

Most people i know will go for the lightest rims they can afford. However, i know different kind of tyres have different weight. Some of the difference in tyres can be as much as 1 kg but i seldom see people asking about the weight of the tyres nor usually can find any information on it as well? my thought is that if the tyres have almost the same kind of grip and noise, the next most important will be the weight. Am i right or am i making people more confuse?

Ahem..... Now is finally my turn to post on some inconsiderate & dangerous drivers on the road This morning at around 8.45am on ECP towards Changi Airport, there is this K12 'Chocolate' color Marchie with the number plate of SCQ 32xx whom is driving dangerously, doing zig zagging without signalling his intentions To this 'Rally driver' if you happened to browse through this forum, i'm the black Mazda 3 on lane 2 whom you have cut into without any signalling jus after the Tanjong Pagar entrance to ECP and for your information my bumper was jus inches away from your rear when you execute your superb overtaking drill from lane 1 You and me and many others at that particular time & venue are just driving a normal saloon and there are no super cars around so there's no need for you to show off your car's powerness to me or to anyone else If you are really in a hurry, please be considerate enough to signal your intentions & overtake others with due care, this in turn would make you a roadworthy driver and at the same time create lesser brake pad wear & tear for others My above post is not to vent my anger but jus hope that if you happen to read this post, please do some reflections on yourself
