I've been receiving a number of spam mails from my friends via yahoo account. Seems that quite a number of them kena. It seems that its the server kena hack rather than mailbox password compromised, as one of my friend used complex password containing "#*" also kena while another used all numbers safe and sound. Anyone kena?

..got a call from the fraud dept this am from UOB that they detected a suspicious activity of purchase about $600+ from my card. They have blocked the card since. Actually, I realised when I went to pay petrol this am, and could not transact. There they told me, and thereafter I received a call from teh fraud dept. Folks, do be mindful of your CCs. Watch the credit limit and ensure that you do not give your no anyhow. I suspect my card no was phished. I do quite a bit of shopping for stuff. But kudos to UOB for their prompt and alertness. Card cancelled, but just received new card 2 mins ago. Be safe
