  1. Bought a tub of above. Wanted to try the product so badly, I started washing my car once I reach home(2100). Feeling excited, I briefly read the instruction again. Missed this line "Recommended to professionals for use with electirc buffer." . I dun have one. Followed the instructions. Use well-dampened cloth. Rub well.Turn cloth frequently. Finish by buffing surface with clean dry cloth lightly. Did all the above. What do I get? Nothing. Except some dry wax that are hard to remove. (its still there). Any brothers out there used the same product b4? Is there any steps that I missed?? *sob sob............
  2. As above. Which is better for removing stains on the paintwork caused by a) bird poo b) plant/tree sap c) fruit sap (those small berry kind that falls on the roof and get squashed) d) minor scratches? I read through almost all the threads on swirl marks and scratches removal. Most recommend 3M, Meguire Swirl and Scratch remover. Turtlewax Swirl and Scratch Remover doesn't seem to be popular. Any other DIY options? Thank you.
  3. Has anyone tried this product? It's newly launched. I bought a bottle to try and i must say it is fantastic. I've previously tried the scratch X, the swirlX and what have yous....all the swirl and scratch removers in the market...someone none worked easily and well to me... I'm not one of those owns those professional polishers and use those abrasive compounds etc... I'm just your everyday foam applicator on, wipe off guys so i can't buy those industrial grade swirl removers la.... I was surprised how easy this was to use...jsut like any other "wax/cleaner/polishers" in the market, just apply, and wipe off. I was amazed at how it managed to get rid of alot of water stains, swirls and even scratches...didn't take much effort at all... Of course, after all that, i coated it with the DG ES and the #105 to finish is off :) ANd it's not expensive either, $16 a bottle...and it works...so i'm happy with it...but since it's a "compound" i guess can't use it too often huh..
  4. I recently bought a glass compound product from autobac and was wondering how should I apply or the methods use to obtain optimum result. Should I wash all the glasses with car shampoo first then dry them, use glass cleaner clean them and apply glass compound? Or I can just wet all windows and dry them then apply glass compound? After applying glass compound, wash, dry and everything. Is it ok to apply rain repellent like Rain X?? Or is it recommended to?

  6. ST Briton cleared of molest after paying $5,000 to compound case By Elena Chong A Briton was acquitted on Tuesday of molesting a woman at Clarke Quay after the case was compounded. Recruitment executive Austin Charles Arnold Cowburn, 35, had compounded the matter by paying $5,000 to the 30-year-old woman, who was in court with her husband. Mr Cowburn, originally accused of grabbing her buttocks at China One Pub at Clarke Quay on April 3, apologised to the woman in open court. He was on holiday here when the alleged offence took place. He said outside court that he was looking forward to going back to Britain, and to seeing his mother and father. Anyone convicted of outrage of modesty may be jailed for up to two years, fined, caned or received any combined punishment
  7. Hi all, Was wondering what cutting compound are you guys using. Possible to share location to get them and pricing as well as how abrasive is it. I was looking at Ultimate compound and Maguiars professional line up. I have some fine scratches that only upon close inspection can u see. Swirl X dont seem to do the trick.
  8. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Malaysian motorists who have been slapped with traffic summonses will get a partial reprieve from Tuesday: the compound fines for these offences will be halved, said the police. But those facing serious offences will not be spared, said Federal traffic chief Senior Asst Comm II Datuk Hamza Taib. He said the move was to ease the burden on the lower income group after the recent price hike in petroleum and food items. The 50 per cent discount applies only to those who get on-the-spot summons and they must pay up within 30 days. 'Offenders who have yet to pay their summons and have not received letters summoning them to court are eligible for a 30 per discount,' he told reporters on Monday at the Traffic Police Headquarters, Bukit Aman. 'Those who have received the court summons are not eligible for any discount.' Traffic offenders receiving their summons via the post are eligible for a 30 per cent discount regardless of when it was issued. He said the discount offer was ongoing and no deadline had been set. Asked if the discounts would encourage motorists to flout traffic laws, he said police were confident the gesture would spur them to learn from their mistakes and not repeat them. 'Even before this, the rich might not think much of paying a RM300 (S$124.71) fine. Our focus is to try and ease the burden on the lower- and middle-class group,' he said. He said those issued summonses during Ops Sikap, for jumping the red light, for accidents as well as those issued arrest warrants were not eligible for a discount. SAC Hamza said he was confident that the new incentive could help improve the summons payment rate, recorded at 70 per cent at the end of last year. He added that about 12,000 traffic summonses for various offences were issued every day nationwide. My Garmen Sg Garmen
  9. Hi guys, need help here again. Is turtle brand swirl remover better or the 3m rubbing compound is better?
  10. I just bought this compound roll from Carrefour... apparently, this is a coumpound roll that removes a small layer of glass from your windshield as you apply it and will help to remove juddering. But the instructions are all in Japanese... I don't understand a single word. Can anyone tell me what are the steps in applying this roll? Thanks!
  11. Does the polish/wax compound we use matter in toning down or up the extent of orange peel? Coz after using Klasse AIO and Sealant on my ride, it seems to accentuate the orange peel. Comments?
  12. I encounter wheel spin with front wheel drive when accelerating from 0km/h on a wet surface . Is changing of tire compound adequate to prevent wheel spin? (eg. sports maxx, T1R, R-S2). my current tire spec Falken ZE326 205/45/16 3.9% smaller in diameter compared to stock size I know nearer to stock is definitely better but can I stick to 205/45/16? if I must change tire profile (eg. both 195/50/16 & 215/45/16 are about 2.3% smaller in diameter compared to stock), wider better or narrower?
