  1. Any bro/sis on this GRBS blue coilover for your korean ride? Any feedback? This seem to be relatively new and manufactured in Korea. How's the daily ride feel and hard driving feel? Local shop pushing this but not sure it is worth the $. http://www.grbs.co.kr/en/
  2. Hi! I took over a Fiat Grande Punto recently and found out that the previous owner had changed the shocks to Koni Sport 8741. Not sure about the springs though.. I find that the ride is a little too stiff and wanted to make it softer. Understand that I'd need a white coloured knob to turn the top axle to tune it. It wasn't included with the car when I purchase it from the dealer though.. It cost $50 from ebay. Hence, trying my luck here to see if any brother/sister out there has one to lend it to me for a day or two?

  13. Hi Thinking of changing to coilovers. TEIN being too ex, was thinking of D2 or Hotbits. ound out recently the price of D2 but yet to find out the price for the Hotbits coilover. Anyone got any idea? Also, are they good in terms of the built (leak easily?), too stiff even on softest setting??..
  14. of course, if cost is no object, coilovers... but what if the coilover goes kaput? then must replace that side.. isn't it cheaper to just install lowering springs and aftermarket shocks? i'm not gonna want to vary my ride height or stiffness. going more for lowering and stiffening to improve my cornering, but don't want to spend a bomb. my ride's a getz. what do u guys n gals recommend? for springs and shocks tt is.. have read up a bit on coilovers liao
  15. hi to all seniors and performance heads, Just wanna find out a little more on this item called the Hotbitz Coilover. I tried searching for this thing but it came back nil... Just wondering if there are any old birds that have any comment on this item... Thanks in advance!!
  16. I came across some good reviews about these on the net. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?p=18051278 http://features.evolutionm.net/article.php?id=84 Are they available in Singapore?
  17. Bros anyone fitted with any of the below your comment is most appreciated. 1. Cusco Zero-1, Front 12kg/ Rear 6kg 2. Aragosta, Front 10kg/ Rear 7kg 3. RS*R Super-i, Front 10kg/Rear 8kg 4. JIC Magic VIP FLT-A2 Super Low, Front 12kg/Rear 6kg Additional oil canisters are nice but none of the above are available for my car model. RS*R is definately the last choice as it cost an arm/leg. Cusco w/ Econ shiok .. can adj damping on the fly. TOMS coilovers are definately out since its even more pricey, ~$4.5k... Any bad from the above??? I'm on a RWD setup.

  22. Yo Bros of MCF, u have any good lobang in singapore or malaysia to change the coilovers?? ..... mine in front (about 5 fingers) and behind is abt 3 fingers ... Imachaim like aeroplane taking off ... keke ... wanted to change .... so any places to recommend??
  23. I am trying to find out more on suspension options currently. Think my stock suspension may be near end of life cycle. Covered 70K mileage so far. Produce a strange sound like something loose or knocking from the front right side when going over bumpy roads eg those speed regulating strips. Big road humps have no noticable problems. One of the coilovers I was quite interested in is the Hotbits coilovers. Anyone have any experience with it? Was particularly interested in its hardness lever and reliability. I am hoping to find something that can strick a balance between performance and comfort as I do occasional long trips up north and also as family do use the car sometime, do not wish the ride to be too hard. :P Another candidate is the Koni Yellow/Eibach combo. Btw, my ride is the Sunny VIP. Thanks.
  24. PLEASE DO NOT DRIFT IN THIS POST!!!!! ITS MEANT FOR OTHERS INTERESTED IN TECHNICAL STUFF OR PLANNING TO CHANGE SUSPENSION SYSTEM.... Hi All Me and Saaber has both just changed out suspension to Hotbits Coilover and are using this opportunity to review this set of coilover for everyone's benefit....hope it comes in useful to all of you. Nissan VIP - Feel as a Driver The drive is not considered too hard as compared to Tein and any other coilovers. Comfort is still very much available. The ride is also not too bouncy. cornering is sensational. body roll is kept to a minimal. i can feel that my car was turning but really flat. My first feel of the drive at the first cornering was...."Wow, what a breeze". the feel is different from that of stock which has very heavy body roll. The car also seems to respond pretty well now due to lack in body lag. Handling of the car is also very much 'tighter' now. Nissan VIP - Feel as a Passenger So far no one taken a ride in the car yet......will get whoever to update once he sits in the car. Honda City - Feel as a Driver SAABER, PLEASE UPDATE HERE Honda City - Feel as a Passenger The settings is much harder than mine. but overall like the VIP, its still has comfort. cornering on his car is marvellous as he has even less roll as compared to my setting and his car is much lower than mine too. I do not feel that my ass is countering anything on tight bends. But his bounces more than my car.....thats for sure!!!
