  3. Hey guys, I just got my OL about 2 weeks back, and I was trying to clean off this stubborn water stain on my exterior car plastic trim, so i just used a microfiber cloth to clean it. To my surprise, a scratch appeared!! I'm not sure if it's because I wipe a little too hard or what, but now I (still) have the water stain and this scratch beside it. I have tried using toothpaste (searched online solutions), magic sponge (worked for my back window trims water spots) and vinegar and just simple water wiping, but nothing works.. Anyone has any experiences on this, or any advice on how I can remove it please? It's quite obvious.. Thank you!

  10. I tried myself n been told and also read everywhere that MF cloth is mostly used for buffing off wax finishes and chamois is more of a water suction mop to dry yr car after car wash. Since a cloth is a cloth n all cloth can be used to dry up a wet car, does anyone here actually uses MF cloth to dry instead of chamois. I find that MF cloth doesnt leave strands of fibres behind and is smoother than chamois[mostly]. I havent tried every type of chamois just a few so far and it seems that the most expensive is autoglym chamois selling at $24 per piece What do you guys use for drying yr car? MF or chamois and which brand do you use
  11. I tend to wipe my car regularly with spray detailer and spray wax every other days. However i do not wash my cloth every time after using the cloth. Somehow i read in other threads that the wax on the cloth will cake. Can i check with you guys, how often you wash the MF cloth? Every single time u use it with a speed detailer? or Spray wax?? Paste wax, liquid wax, polish or sealant, i will wash after use. But how about spray wax and detailer?

  20. How to use the blue waffle weave drying cloth? I tried dabbing the water but it doesn't seem to absorb the water as well as those chamois cloths, I notice that it will cause some streaking when I remove the cloth. I am not supposed to wipe dry, right? Also, it becomes really heavy when filled with water and quite hard to squeeze dry. So what is the correct way to use it?

  23. MD sold me 3 waffle weave drying cloth at the last MDDS. I went home, washed my car and after that used the ww cloth to dry it. The usage is simple. Simply spread the clothe over a wet area and pull it - no need to use any strength. The entire area is dry. Using just my 3 ww cloth, I am able to dry my entire car in 10 minutes. And my car is not that small hor - it's a Ford Mondeo. Thumbs up! Saves a lot of my time and effort that can be better used for applying sealant and wax.
