Received this set yesterday. Realized that it cannot be directly fit onto my vehicle Fiat Panorama. I would like to seek advices/suggestions how to get the Clarion set installed on my Panorama. Also received a reverse camera yesterday. Can this camera be able to connect to the Clarion unit ? Hope it would not be very expensive [below S$100 ??] to get the Clarion and reverse cam installed. Thanks in advance for advices/suggestions.

Hi all, I bought & installed my Clarion vrx756vd in-dash dvd player http://www.zerothree.com.au/clarion/VRX756VD_ZeroThree.pdf on 28 apr 2006 at Pin Liang Enterprises for $1720nett. Hi, I am planning to connect my iphone to the aux of my clarion 956 player. But I have a problem. I do not know what kind of plug is required for the aux of 956 unless I have to go back to the installer to take out my cdplayer. Does anyone have a pic of the rear of the clarion 956 so I can check out what plug to use. Thanks.

Anyone have this unit? Was comparing this with the Clarion WXZ466MP. I found out that the cost of these 2 units are about the same price +/- $100. Which do you guys/gals think is a better system? Will be installed with a reverse camera with no amp and stock speakers in small car. Any good camera to intro? Heard good ones from Fujitsu cost $500++ Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks

Anyone knows the price? thinking of changing my speakers to Clarion too. I usually listen to mp3s (90s rock, pop, contempory) and Jay Chou / David Tao Ze / Gary Cao Ge chinese songs. prefer warm and clear sound, not too bright. any gurus can help? :) oh yah, currently running on Sony CDX-GT550 and JBL front components (dunno which model, almost 7 years liao, JBL 4-channel amp (2 channel powering front, 2 channels bridged to power the Cadence 10-inch sub.) Uncle Bob, where are you? =)

saw a new HU from clarion DXZ776... the specs looks interesting... what caught my eye really was its 6channel output, which means haha... one more HU that can do front three way active + sub without resorting to the 701 route... for specs, see singapore website link: http://www.clarion.com/sg/en/products/2007...8734502344.html the singapore's site [naturally] did not state the price. if you look at the us site, the price was listed as USD399.99. For reference, the D2 was listed as USD1,399.99 so that sort of puts in perspective the difference in range... wonder if there are any early bird bros who have had the chance to listen to this HU and perhaps can share some early review?

not sure if this is under ICE... related. just got myself a 2nd hand 956 and added the ipod adaptor. been facing this problem with my ipod... the HU only reads 96 songs out of my hundreds and these 96 songs appear under "Disk 1". I can't seem to find any other "disc" in the ipod. The funny thing is that these 96 songs have never been preselected by me to be in any playlist before... how did these songs get "selected"? I'm now thinking it could be due to the ipod as I think when i hook up my ipod with my home stereo using the DLO Homedock, the same 96 songs are the default playlist... need to go back and check. On the home stereo, i can at least navigate with the ipod. But with the ipod adaptor, i can only do so on the 956... i'm stuck with that 96 songs!!?? Any expert views on this? Is this an (known?) iPod problem?

Need some feedback on whether anyone has used his DSP before? This is a proceessor meant for use with Clarion HUs with CeNet-bus control. Apparently, this retired model has got the usual (but I think much much simpler than 701) sound processing capabilities like EQ, TA, X-over etc. Reason why I'm asking is that I've got lobang for new units of this processor for a ridiculously low price. Anyone interested? I'm considering using it for myself if I can get hold of a Clarion HU...
