High five for Citroen's new medium SUVhttps://www.stuff.co.nz/motoring/road-tests/109909709/high-five-for-citroens-new-medium-suv Citroen has always been more keen on quirky people movers than high-riding SUVs. It's a very Continental thing. Except that it's becoming less of thing as time goes on, which is why the French brand has finally created something that competes in New Zealand's most popular single new-vehicle segment: medium SUVs. So say "salut/gidday" to the new C5 Aircross, a European Car of the Year nominee that's heading here in September. Perhaps because it's come so late to the SUV party, Citroen reckons the C5 Aircross answers buyer concerns about the relative lack of comfort and practicality in the latest fashion-led soft-roaders. It's based on the same front-drive platform as the Peugeot 3008, but it's 55mm longer in the wheelbase (and stretched by the same amount overall). The idea is that the C5 Aircross is more spacious on the inside than your average medium SUV, more comfortable with Citroen's new-generation Advanced Comfort Seats (15mm surface foam, mattress-like filling and more memory foam underneath) and especially more practical. The rear seats are split 40/20/40, all three sections slide individually and the backrests can be adjusted for rake, meaning luggage capacity ranges from a generous 580 litres to a very impressive 720 while maintaining five chairs. Not exactly luxurious for rear occupants in the latter position, but hey - you can do it. It's all very people-mover-like. You can see what they've done there. There's just one high-specification model for NZ, powered by a version of Peugeot-Citroen's familiar 1.6-litre turbo-petrol with 132kW/250Nm. That's more grunt than you get in the top-line 3008 petrol models (121kW/240Nm) and it's matched to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The comfort ethos continues in the suspension with Citroen's Progressive Hydraulic Cushion (PHC) dampers, a unique system originally developed for the brand's rally cars that has extra baby dampers at the top and bottom of the main units to smooth out the up-and-down movements, while maintaining good control in the mid-range. So at a projected price just under $50k, you're potentially getting a larger, more powerful and better equipped SUV (stuff like adaptive cruise will likely be standard on the Kiwi C5 Aircross) for a little less money than the equivalent 3008. It's expected to account for at least of half of Citroen's Kiwi volume when it comes on stream in September, although with no price-leading model and the fact that it's a new thing for a niche brand, it'll still be a fairly small concern. The local distributor reckons the 3008 will still outsell the C5 Aircross three-to-one. At Citroen's international media launch in Morocco. Marrakech in fact, from the chaos of the city where you're constantly dodging battered Peugeot 504 utes, out into wide open spaces and around the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. An ambitious drive-location and obviously one chosen to showcase the squishy underpinnings and long cruising legs of the C5 Aircross. The so-called "180" (that's horsepower) version of this engine is a gem: perky and punchy, even if it gets a little raucous up top. The eight-speed transmission is seamless and smooth at a cruise, although it can get a bit fidgety when you ask the big questions with the throttle. The roads in Morocco are famously bad in places: narrow, ruts and plenty of big potholes. A tough test then. As with the PHC-equipped C4 Cactus we tested in NZ late last year, we found the C5 Aircross chassis had a tendency to occasionally crash into broken tarmac at urban speeds, but cruised serenely on the open road, combining the right degree of classic Citroen "waft" with good body control. It's a ride-handling combination that suits the medium-SUV C5 Aircross much better than the city-oriented C4 Cactus. And don't mistake comfort-oriented dynamics for a sluggish feel: the C5 Aircross is literally light on its feet, with a kerb weight of just 1430kg. We ventured off-tarmac a little, although take note that as with the sister 3008, the C5 Aircross is front-drive only. Kiwi models will likely ride on 19-inch wheels, but if you're willing to step down to 18s you can have Grip Control as an option - a drive-mode selector that adjusts traction control and transmission calibration for low traction surfaces. What really stands out? Character: a more fluid low-speed ride would be welcome, but overall the Citroen's deliberately non-sporty demeanour and strong visual character are hugely refreshing. The interior ambience is pretty chill as well - lounge-like in its styling and high in equipment. The controls are pleasingly simple but there's hi-tech on board, including a neat virtual instrument panel. The choice of materials is more in the cheap-and-cheerful mould, though: the textures are interesting but a lot of the plastic is pretty hard. It's nothing like as premium as the touchy feely environment of a 3008. Why would I buy it? Because it proves that medium-sized SUVs don't have to be generic boxes. Because it really does blend SUV style with a touch of people-mover practicality. Or because Citroen is doing some pretty cool stuff these days that's full of character without being self-consciously quirky, and you want in.

Before there was such a thing as industrial design, there was the Citroen Type H van. Built from 1947 to 1981, the H Van used corrugated body panels to save weight, material, and manufacturing costs. Now, Citroen is revisiting the Type H with the Type Holidays, built on the current Spacetourer platform. The angular corrugated bodywork returns, this time with a pop-up roof. Under the pop-up, the interior sports a two-row bench seat that converts into a bed, along with a double bed for sleeping up to four people. A kitchenette includes a fridge, sink, and cooking area, while the toilet and rear bench can be removed to increase cargo area when not camping. Citroen debuted the Type Holidays at the Dusseldorf Caravan Show earlier in September and announced that it will be taking orders soon.

Anyone can advice. Asking for friend. The Kia Seltos and price is similar to Citroen C4 yet comes with no safety tech. May i know why is people still choosing Kia Seltos? For a similar price and car size segment, is there something similar with comprehensive safety tech and value for money for us to consider?

Road works are becoming more of a common occurrence on our roads. This calls for drivers to be more aware of their surroundings, since the road barriers usually cut into a lane, making lanes narrower. Watch this video to find out what happens when a driver lacks such awareness when driving. Watch the video of the dramatic accident here: A Citroen MPV was unaware of the road barriers which were set up on Alexandra Road. The driver then proceeded to ram the barriers at a rather high speed, causing a rather violent 'explosion' of barriers. Worst still, the driver nearly smashed into construction workers who were standing nearby, almost causing a fatality. The dislodged barriers also nearly caused a passing motorcyclist an accident. Luckily, he was quick enough to jam brake, saving him crashing into the barrier. Turns out to be that the the motorcyclist was a really top dude, rushing over to the driver of the Citroen MPV to check if he was alright after tending to his own bike. In a rare moment of positivity on social media, especially on road accident pages, netizens also praised the motorcyclist for checking on the Citroen driver despite his own mishap. Another netizen however, pointed out that the driver of the Citroen might have been distracted by his phone. Please be reminded that using a phone while driving may cause you imprisonment of up to 6 months, a fine of up to $1,000 or both, if found guilty. If anything, let this video be a reminder to all that road conditions do change, and that however familiar we are of certain roads, it is unwise to be complacent or distracted when driving at all times. ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. Following on from its successful SUV offensive with the launch of C3 Aircross SUV and C5 Aircross SUV - 300,000 and 200,000 sales respectively - Citroën is ready for the next stage in the rollout of its product strategy, focusing firmly on the hatchback market. Compact hatchbacks remain an important part of the European car market, accounting for nearly 28% of C-segment sales in 2019. New ë-C4 and New C4 tick all the boxes in this competitive segment, while offering a modern and characterful new design concept as an integral part of the product offering. Citroën's new-generation compact hatchback is inspired by its customers and the way they experience their cars. The 100% electric New ë-C4 and New C4 have all the qualities needed to shake up a segment that is having to reinvent itself. For Citroën, that means offering an all-new silhouette with a choice of 100% electric, petrol or Diesel power. THREE DIFFERENT POWERTRAINS TO CHOOSE FROM: 100% ELECTRIC, PETROL OR DIESEL New ë-C4 - 100% ëlectric and New C4 are the same modern and technologically advanced car, but with an enhanced choice of powertrains: 100% electric, petrol or Diesel. Customers simply choose the high-performance and efficient option that best meets their needs. New ë-C4 is the fifth electrified model to be announced in 2020 as part of Citroën's electrification strategy - after C5 Aircross SUV Hybrid, Ami, ë-Dispatch and ë-SpaceTourer. INNOVATIVE POSTURE AND ASSERTIVE STYLE New Citroën ë-C4 and New Citroën C4 also represent a new design concept at the heart of the C-Hatch segment, with a unique and bold identity. The elevated and assertive stance means the body shape has all the elegance and dynamism of a hatchback, while subtly adopting certain SUV traits for added strength and character. Aerodynamic and flowing, the exterior design echoes Citroën's well-known aesthetics, while bringing a new expression of style to the range. Its warm and high-tech interior instantly expresses well-being, comfort and modernity. A NEW EXPRESSION OF THE CITROËN ADVANCED COMFORT® PROGRAMME The complete embodiment of the Citroën Advanced Comfort® programme, New ë-C4 and New C4 offer a new sense of modern, all-round comfort: Driving comfort is assured with Advanced Comfort seats and suspension featuring Progressive Hydraulic Cushions®. Comfort is amplified still further in New ë-C4 with the benefits of ë-Comfort: quiet operation, smoothness and fluid driving sensations. Travelling comfort is underpinned by the amount of interior space and the practical on-board features - including an innovation for the front passenger (to be disclosed on 30 June). Comfort in use is derived from the numerous on-board technologies and driver assistance systems. Comfort of the mind comes from the soothing and sophisticated interior designs. A LEGACY OF COMPACT CARS Citroën's compact cars have been a success story since the first C4 in 1928. A history that includes the GS - voted European Car of the Year in 1971 - which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. A series of cars acknowledged for their character, comfort and exemplary road manners over many decades: C4-1928, Ami 6/Ami 8, GS/GSA, BX, ZX, Xsara, C4-2004, C4-2010 and C4 Cactus.

Finally a new flagship by Citroën worth looking forward to? The new shape somewhat reminds me of unconventional looking Renault Vel Satis... Approximately three years ago, Citroen said the successor of the C5 will have an unconventional shape and will basically “reinvent” the traditional sedan. At the time, the automaker didn’t share much but said the production model will draw inspiration from the fabulous Cxperience Concept. Today, finally, we can share the first spy photos of the next-generation C5, showing what Citroen had in mind. From the spyshots, Citroen is keeping its promise and the new C5 will have a very unique shape. It’s not exactly a station wagon, and it’s not exactly a hatchback. It’s definitely not a sedan, too. The mix between different body styles gives the new C5 a prominent profile and the first impressions are for a large and comfortable car. It’s worth noting that there seems to be a strong visual connection between the production model and the concept from 2016. This holds true especially at the back where the taillights appear to have a very similar shape. It’ll be very interesting to see whether that fat D-pillar has a large window like on the Cxperience Concept.

I was contemplating a switch over to diesel engine car + aesthetic/ handsome look of DS5, heard engine clatter while on start, goes off when running gear, anyone care to share more on likes/ dislikes, performance and bad vibes. Understand the french are good in fashion designs and culinary delights, but comes to car technology, it's a different piece of cake altogether, not particularly in favour of Peugeot or Renault, however have seen Peugeot 5008, priced $132K. Thank U

For those who are not familiar with DS, it is a stand alone brand under Citroen, and DS9 is technically the successor of Citroen C6. Calling @Toeknee_33 this one ok for you? It does look like a French Lexus ES to me, especially its rear. Following DS 7 CROSSBACK and DS 3 CROSSBACK, this is a large, stylish saloon to head up the new French premium brand's line up. With DS 9, DS Automobiles is emphasising its expertise, design, sophistication and technology with a global vision. With these exciting characteristics, DS 9 conveys a perfect blend of heritage, remarkable savoir-faire and cutting-edge technology. DS 9 is an invitation to rediscover French excellence in relation to the car. Elegance with a sleek silhouette With a length of 4.93 metres, width of 1.85 metres and large 690mm diameter wheels/tyres, DS 9 is more striking than other saloons in its class. It uses a new version of the EMP2 (Efficient Modular Platform 2) architecture with a longer wheelbase not used with a saloon car before, which greatly benefits the rear passenger space. Its design has a sleek silhouette with a steeply raked rear window, fastback style. A three-box saloon, DS 9 continues the DS Automobiles design language with an expressive front face featuring the DS WINGS and the parametric design of the grille with its three-dimensional diamond effect giving character. On the bonnet there's a 'Clous de Paris' sabre, the first time this DS interior signature has been used outside the cockpit. With a nod to the original 1955 DS, DS 9 also has cone shapes at the outside edges of the roof. Inspired by the legendary saloon, the cones have been reformed to house brand new tail lights, signalling DS 9's presence. The fluidity of an unbroken line is translated by a contour that flows from the grille over the bonnet, windscreen, roof and to the boot lid without being interrupted. The sides are smooth with a taut line that goes from the front headlights to the tail lights. This character is emphasised by the body-coloured flush fitting door handles and a two-tone black roof which emphasises the power of its elegance. At the rear, this desire to integrate every feature into a single expression is also evident. The rear wings, the badge and the boot lid are linked with the same fluidity. Embedded in this, the chiselled lights have the effect of scales, creating a contrast to give a dramatic three-dimensional effect. They are underlined by lateral sabres, paying tribute to the design elements of the great French coachbuilders of the 1930s. The elegantly thin third brake light helps make the rear appear wider and extends the visual effect of the rear window. E-TENSE: the power and comfort of hybrid up to 360 horsepower At first, DS 9 will be offered with a new E-TENSE plug-in hybrid powertrain comprising a PureTech turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor combined to deploy 225hp and capable of travelling between 25 and 31 miles (40 - 50 kilometres) in zero emissions (WLTP) mode courtesy of an 11.9kWh battery. The electric motor, through an eight-speed automatic gearbox, can deploy maximum power of 80kW (110hp) and 320Nm. It is used for driving off from a standstill, boosting acceleration at any speed and for driving in zero emissions mode up to 84mph (135kph). Electric mode is always automatically selected on start-up to maximise efficiency. It is complemented by a Hybrid mode, designed to automatically control the different types of energy by driving 100% electric, 100% petrol or combining the two if the situation requires it. The car's occupants will be mostly oblivious of this transition. An E-TENSE Sport mode gets the most out of the available power from the combined application of the combustion engine and electric motor by adjusting the mapping of the accelerator pedal, gearbox, steering and active suspension. It intensifies driver enjoyment and dynamics all with complete peace of mind. DS 9 utilises an energy recovery system that re-charges the battery in deceleration or brake phases, amplified with an enhanced Braking function selected by pulling back the gear selector and displayed as 'B'. In addition, an E-Save function guarantees there's always selected levels of battery-stored energy to do chosen parts of the journey in Zero Emissions mode (one of several levels available), for example when the driver knows they will be going into LEV areas or town centres. The 7.4kW on-board charger enables the battery to be charged in 1hr 30minutes from home or public charging points using the cable supplied as standard. A range comprising E-TENSE and petrol power The line-up will shortly afterwards be topped by two more E-TENSE power units - the first with 250hp, 2-wheel drive plus increased range capability, and the second - a 360hp with an intelligent 4-wheel drive transmission. In China the 250hp E-TENSE model will be offered from launch. A 225hp solely PureTech petrol engine model will also be available. All models are equipped with a smooth and fast-changing eight-speed automatic gearbox. DS LOUNGE: the savoir-faire of French luxury makes travel a delightful experience What if comfort in the back seats was the same as that in the front? With DS LOUNGE, DS Automobiles is offering first-rate expertise to DS 9 occupants. The sophistication of quality materials integrated on wide open surfaces, with a dashboard completely swathed in Nappa Leather and the watchstrap design of the seats supplements the care that's been taken over every detail. The crystal-shaped touch-sensitive buttons, the Alcantara® that covers the roof lining and the sun visors, and door handles that are wrapped by hand in leather invite you to touch and appreciate or feel them. With its long 2.90 metre wheelbase, DS 9 offers a huge amount of space in the back seats. Seats are heated, cooled and massaging, a first in the class. The central armrest plays a part in the overall comfort, boasting features from segments above such as leather upholstery, storage areas with built-in USB ports, controls for the massaging seats and multi-coloured welcome lighting. DS 9 gives new meaning to individual comfort where each setting can be adjusted for enhanced delight. This special feature enables every passenger to be in charge of their own on-board comfort. Personalise with 'DS Inspirations' This first-class comfort is also demonstrated through the personalisation of 'DS Inspirations'. Each interior theme, named after famous quarters in Paris, has its own character with seats in leather or Alcantara®. The attention paid to each detail gives a wealth of possibility with the grained leather seats of DS Inspiration BASTILLE or DS Inspiration RIVOLI, DS Inspiration PERFORMANCE Line's black Alcantara® and the Art Rubis Nappa leather of the DS Inspiration OPÉRA with its iconic watchstrap design. This range-topping signature is also offered with adjustable, multi-coloured ambient lighting with eight colour shades designed to give a cosy atmosphere and a steering wheel that's completely covered in Art Rubis leather. Attention to detail, produced by precise workmanship, is part of French savoir-faire. The crystal-shaped touch-sensitive controls, the 'Pearl Stitching' tastefully emphasises the seat upholstery's watchstrap design, the trim of the dashboard and door panels are further examples of this. The controls on the centre console are finished with 'Clous de Paris' guillochage, the iconic signature of fine French watchmaking, reiterated by the 180O rotating B.R.M timepiece on top of the dashboard. Comfort and enjoyment in sound Resulting from research undertaken since the Brand's launch, acoustic ambience is taken to a new level with a special treatment designed to suppress exterior noise. Laminated acoustic glass combines with a hard-bonded body to enhance strength, subdue noise and minimise vibrations. The environment is enhanced with a FOCAL Electra sound system, specially developed for DS 9 with the addition of new stainless-steel tweeter grilles among the fourteen speakers positioned around the cockpit. DS ACTIVE SCAN SUSPENSION With DS ACTIVE SCAN SUSPENSION, a camera scans the road, level sensors, accelerometers and drivetrain sensors record every movement and the system prepares the damping of each wheel for road imperfections in order to improve safety, serenity and provides ride comfort without equal. This 21st Century DS suspension combines the hushed comfort of a prestigious saloon with the dynamics of a Grand Touring coupé. Always with more technology Beyond DS LOUNGE, which is already a benchmark in its class, DS 9 benefits from the latest technology, a quality of other models in the DS range. DS DRIVE ASSIST With DS DRIVE ASSIST, DS 9 enables its driver to enjoy Level 2 semi-autonomous driving which lets them cover distances in the greatest comfort with improved levels of safety. Speed is controlled according to the surroundings of DS 9. The system uses multiple sensors to position DS 9 precisely in its lane depending on where the driver decides by it controlling the steering trajectory. Usable up to 111mph (180kph) depending on the country's laws, it controls speed and direction, under the driver's supervision, in order to guarantee safety and peace of mind. Controlling the speed is done by adaptive cruise control linked to a system that controls the power. Among other things it will control driving in traffic jams: the car will restart automatically if it's stopped for less than three seconds. If it's stopped for longer, simply pressing a button or the accelerator pedal will restart DS 9. The on-board DS DRIVE ASSIST camera recognises broken and continuous lines. While driving, it's constantly analysing the situation and interpreting best actions to apply. It enables the car to stay in its lane, even in the area of the lane that the driver wants. If the driver wishes to re-take control of the steering, taking a firm hold of the steering wheel will override the system. It is also interrupted if the indicators are used, e.g. for lane changes. The system can be activated from 16mph (30kph). It is then operational from 0 to 111mph (180kph). DS PARK PILOT For parking, DS PARK PILOT will detect a parking place by passing it at speeds up to 16mph (30kph). The driver then indicates on their touchscreen that they want to park, parallel or into a bay. And there's just one thing to do: keep the Park button pressed and wait for the technology to get to work. Acceleration, braking and steering are automatically controlled during either entry or exit of the parking place. Releasing the button halts the movement. DS SAFETY During long journeys, poor visibility or lack of attention are often synonymous with danger. To make driving safer DS SAFETY brings together six major functions: DS NIGHT VISION, DS DRIVER ATTENTION MONITORING, DS ACTIVE LED VISION, blind spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking and extended traffic sign recognition. DS NIGHT VISION DS NIGHT VISION is exceptional at reading the road at night. Its infrared camera in the front grille detects pedestrians, cyclists and animals on the carriageway up to 100 metres ahead. The driver gets a picture in infrared on their large digital instrument display and will see danger outlined in yellow, then in red. Alerted like this, they can then react. DS DRIVER ATTENTION MONITORING Through an infrared camera mounted above the steering wheel backed up by a camera at the top of the windscreen, DS DRIVER ATTENTION MONITORING continually watches the drivers eyes for signs of fatigue (blinking), their face (where they're looking) and head movements for distraction, the trajectory of the car over lines in the road, particularly wandering or steering movements by the driver. It can detect any loss of attentiveness by an abnormality in one factor - erratic movements that aren't in a straight line or blinking of the eyes - and will automatically sound an audible alert while a warning will appear on the central screen, day or night. DS ACTIVE LED VISION In addition to looking good, DS ACTIVE LED VISION adapts in width and range to driving conditions and the car's speed. Five lighting modes activate automatically. Parking, Town Beam (width of the beam increases after five seconds of driving), Country Beam (focused ahead from 31mph / 50kph), Motorway Beam (range increased from 68mph / 110kph), Adverse Weather (the power of the modules increases and intensity of the main projectors is reduced). The 'turning headlight' function and High Beam (automatic switching of road lights and sidelights) complete this feature. By lighting the road better and further ahead or with a wider light beam, the driver - and their passengers - enjoy greater safety. DS SMART ACCESS With DS SMART ACCESS, DS 9 enables the car operator to forget about the key by giving right of access to a smartphone. When unlocking, the flush fitting door handles deploy from the bodywork 'as if by magic'. It's possible to access and start the car. Even remotely, this control can be shared to five other people's phones. The MyDS app can also unlock the doors of the shared car. This feature enables authorising access to and starting of DS 9 by another telephone according to a timetable set by the owner. Using Bluetooth®, the system is operational even without GSM network coverage.

Can't create a new topic, so will write a question here. I have Citroen Grand C4 Picasso with BluHDI 200. Recently I've got a message that Ureal level is low and I need to refill it, otherwise I can't start engine in 1100km. I went to official service (Sing Huat Premium), they topped up Adblue tank, but the message still remain. They don't know what to do with it and advised me to go to official Citroen dealer. Reading Internet I found out that this can be a real problem and the best solution is probably to remove Adblue system at all. Can someone advise a technical service which have experience with AdBlue system?

DS7 Crossback E-Tense 4×4 – SUV PHEV with 296 hphttps://paultan.org/2018/09/25/ds7-crossback-e-tense-4x4-suv-phev-with-296-hp/ This is the DS7 Crossback E-Tense 4×4, a plug-in hybrid variant of the French SUV that was revealed in 2017. According to the company, the PHEV model marks an important point in its future as all new models will be electrified versions thereafter. Focusing on the powertrain first, the DS7 Crossback E-Tense 4×4 features a 1.6 litre turbocharged four-cylinder PureTech petrol engine that makes 197 hp (200 PS) at 5,550 rpm and 300 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. An EAT8 eight-speed electrified automatic transmission is mated to the engine. The internal combustion engine (ICE) is helped along by two 107 hp (109 PS or 80 kw) electric motors – one on each axle to provide all-wheel drive. DS Automobiles notes that the unit at the front has a higher torque output at 337 Nm compared to the 166 Nm at the rear. Put together, the end result is a total system output of 296 hp (300 PS) and 450 Nm, which is good for a 0-100 km/h time of 6.5 seconds, while the usual highway overtaking sprint from 80-120 km/h takes just 4.4 seconds. While running on the ICE, the vehicle’s top speed is 220 km/h but is lowered to 135 km/h when only the electric motors are in play. Those motors draw power from a vehicle floor-mounted, 120 kg, 13.2 kWh lithium-ion battery (90 kW power rating) that operates between 240-400 volts, allowing the SUV to travel on electricity alone for up to 50 km (WLTP). Meanwhile, the claimed combined fuel consumption figure is around 2.2 litres per 100 km (WLTP), while CO2 emissions is below 49 g/km. By default, the car starts in Zero emission mode whereby only the electric motors provide the motivation. Drivers can also swap to Hybrid mode that summons the ICE into action when needed, Sport mode for maximum performance, and 4WD mode when optimum traction is necessary on varying terrain. A final mode, E-Save, preserves enough energy to drive in all-electric mode for the last 10-20 km of a journey. As for recharging the battery, it’ll take about two hours when the SUV is plugged (Type 2 connect) into a 6.6 kW charger linked to a 32 A power point, four hours with a 14 A plug, and eight hours on a domestic 8 A plug. Other means of getting the battery juiced up are via regenerative braking or using the ICE as a generator. Visually, the car looks largely indifferent from a regular DS7 Crossback aside from the addition of a charging port on the left side of the vehicle, as well as the letter ‘E’ embossed on the gear lever – a nod to the DS E-Tense concept from 2016.

80 MyCarForum (MCF) members and their loved ones gathered at Masons at Gillman Barracks on Saturday afternoon to celebrate Christmas with Citroen Singapore. Aside from a sumptuous brunch, the event was an opportunity for MCF members to learn more about the Citroen brand and its latest range, in particular its C3 Aircross, which is in the running for sgCarMart's Compact Crossover of the Year 2018. During the event, sgCarMart's Deputy Editor Nigel Yong shared his experience driving the C3 Aircross, which he describes as 'a quirky-looking compact crossover that's highly practical'. "The C3 Aircross, with its pudgy proportions, slatted rear quarter glass and animated two-tier headlamps, is so unorthodox that you can't help but love it. And thanks to the PSA Group's PureTech 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged engine that powers it, supplying 110bhp and 205Nm of torque to the front wheels, there's enough spirited performance for zipping around town. More importantly, the amount of storage bins and cup holders on offer meet the standards of its class, while its 410-litre boot is big enough for a family's needs," he said. Dave Wong, Senior Manager Sales & Marketing, Cycle & Carriage France, continued by giving the guests further insights into the rest of Citroen's history, technology and range, which currently comprises the C4 Cactus and Grand C4 SpaceTourer, too. At the same time, guests had the opportunity to test drive the full range of Citroen models, while those who were waiting for their turns enjoyed quizzes and a round of Bingo. Of course, in the spirit of giving, some lucky MCF members also walked away with attractive Christmas hampers. All smiles behind the wheel of the Citroen Grand C4 SpaceTourer! sgCarMart's Deputy Editor Nigel Yong shares what he likes about the C3 Aircross. Guests learn more about the Citroen brand and its products from Dave Wong, Senior Manager Sales & Marketing, Cycle & Carriage France. Tummies have to be filled! Fun and games for guests of all ages! In true MCF Hangout tradition, everyone goes home happy! Those who have graced the event, and have yet to pen down their reviews of the Citroen cars they drove, can submit one here! May want to upgrade to a MPV for my next ride and am considering this 4 mid-size conti diesel-powered Cat A MPV which I have viewed them all but couldnt made up my mind. Reason for going Diesel is because I figured out over a distance of 100k km, the saving in pump cost is much greater as compared to the higher road tax which I may have to pay for a diesel-powered 1.6L MPV (making comparison with mid-size petrol powered MPV like Wish/Mazda 5). Furthermore, driving up North is something which i seldom do. Based on personal observation, Touran is the one which i spotted most often on the roads (though they may be the petrol variant and not neccessary the diesel variant) Any views from current owners or anyone who has an opinion? I'm trying to guess which MPV is the best value for money or best bang for bucks over a period of say 8yrs.

Hi bros, These 2 niche market models competing in the 1.6 Cat A category. At under 130,000 about the same price as a Kia K5, I think it's worth a good look. I'm keen for one. Any comments?

508 Mondeo C5 CC Which alternative continental sedan will you pick?I take the new Mondeo though I have some reservations about its blatant Aston Martin copied front grille.
