I dont have that answer, how much is cheap? Annual Salary price? Half annual salary? 3 years salary? Good what? Handling? Soundproof? Speed? Space? Open ended question. Inspired by the recent Jumanji movie and the Sims game. What video game do you related your life with? Or what game character do you related yourself to? How would you play this game if you have an alternative choice? What powers and abilities and weakness you think you should have to make you stronger? Discuss.

http://www.sgcarmart.com/news/events_features.php?AID=3294 It's interesting to see that these days it isn't just enough having a clean waiting room/rest area/lounge for customers to relax in while waiting for their cars to be ready. I would suppose it would be a privilege to even have an air-conditioned lounge for customers to kill some time, yet some of these workshops have upped the game. Not so lucky for the motorcycling community though! What's your ideal lounges for car workshops? This is a non sponsored post anyway. Just for some leisure reading!

In the olden days, hawkers boiled their soup stock for hours using genuine stuff such as ikan bilis, pork bones and chicken bones. Retail Price Watch Group’s list of ‘Really Worth It’ hawkers confirms that Singaporean gourmands are willing to pay more for good food that’s ‘worth it’ When it comes to hawker food, Singaporeans have no qualms about paying more for quality mee rebus and chicken rice, according to the results of the “Really Worth It!” Hawker List released today (Nov 8) by the Retail Price Watch Group (RPWG). The online list was collated from the results of the RPWG Hawker Hunt, which was conducted on the RPWG Facebook page from Sept 6 to Oct 18. A total of 60 hawkers were nominated and 2,151 votes were cast for hawkers in four categories: Fishball noodles, chicken rice, mee rebus and nasi briyani. Tian Tian Chicken Rice emerged as the overall leader as the most value-for-money stall, followed by Singapore Zam Zam Restaurant’s chicken briyani, mee rebus from Rahim Muslim Food, and Xin Lu Teochew Fishball Noodles. Each stall was also the most popular in their respective food categories. The list also found that taste was the key factor for voters. Of the 60 stalls nominated, the three lowest priced hawkers were not in the upper ranks. With the exception of Xin Lu Teochew Fishball Noodles, the overall most value-for-money hawkers’ prices fell in the middle to high ranges within their own categories. “It is a little surprising that Singaporeans assigned more weight to taste than price when making their evaluation,” noted RPWG Chairman Mr Lee Yi Shyan, who is also the Senior Minister of State for Trade & Industry and National Development. “I hope this round of consumers’ recommendations forms a good guide to those of us who seek value-for-money food in Singapore. By uncovering popular and good value hawker food around the island, we hope to help consumers stretch their dollar while satisfying their taste buds. “Simultaneously, the List helps to single out hawkers who have worked hard to deliver good value to their customers.” The “Really Worth It!” Hawker List can found on the RPWG’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/RetailPriceWatchGroupSG). Each nominated stall will also be presented with a “Really Worth It!” decal to display on their stall to help the public identify them. The RPWG was set up in February 2011 to keep an eye on excessive price increases of daily necessities and food items, so as to address profiteering, excessive price hikes and anti-competitive practices of businesses in Singapore. My backside too itchy... Planing to change to one of the above within this year. Probably going for a 2nd hand one. I know the above are all different type of cars....that is why i am asking what YOU, in your situation, will choose (and not which is better). So if you have kids, you may chose x3, if you are single, you may choose 335 etc etc..
-
Alright. Narrowed down to 3 choices, and all of them are different kinds of cars. 1. Toyota Mark X OMV 25k, COE 15k 2. Honda Odyssey OMV 26k, COE 13k 3. Mazda CX-7 OMV 29k, COE 12k Assuming all are 2007 cars, all are around the $60k price mark. Which would you choose? Thanks in advance for the input!

Hi folks, My friend went down to her authorized workshop for repairs and was given 2 choices. She is claiming from the 3rd party. Pictures n evidences was submitted during the report. 1. To claim to her insurance first so that her car can be expedite in a week. The authorized workshop will then claim against the 3rd party. Note that the workshop will not carry out any repairs if there are no clearance or approval from any of the Insurance involved. There will be loss of car period ie they will provide a car for her for at least 10 days for free. 2. To wait for the 3rd party insurance for clearance n approval. This choice will lengthen the duration for the car restoration. No car loss of use given. The advisor advised her to choose the first choice for the best option. But in addition to that she have to fork out an excess fee of $640 first in which she can reclaim from the 3rd party insurance that will take up until 6 mths. She was told that her insurance and NCD will not be affected once everything is cleared from the 3rd party. The advisor had assured her of high chances of winning the case as such choosing the first option is the best move to make.. She had signed for the first option as advised. Is this the norm for insurance claim against 3rd party or otherwise? Would like to seek views from forumers here.. Thanks!

Hi guys, jus wondering, is it possible to get the above tyres with a budget of $250-$300? Looking at moderate grip like re001 kind. Dun need the track tyre kind thanks for ur input.
-
Time to change tyres again, as warned by the mechanic during routine servicing today. Tyres on the car now are 185/65/R15 Continental EcoContact 3, which I found rather pricey at $150 ea (!!!) I'm not the kind who will spend big bucks on a vehicle transporting me from A to B and back daily, so can share some experience or knowledge of what tyre choices do I have for <$150 per piece?? Looking for quieter tyres, something like Aspec DB which I've tried in the past - but with better road-holding qualities, please. Have Yokohama come up with improved dB tyres, by the way?

Hi, I'm thinking of the benefits of changing new spark plugs every 10,000km or alternatively, changing to iridum or platinum sparkies. I am not into performance but rather the inconvenience of changing the plugs(labour is charged too!) . Thanks for your feedback and contributions. BTW. I use IK16 plugs and I drive a Toyota Corolla
