Hi all, be very honest as my first thread i did not know where to position this thread but posting it here anyway. backstory, my mum drives grab part time and is returning the car to the previous rental company in less than 3 months time ( we signed 1 year ) until now , under coverage, only my mum was able to drive the car under insurance, although i still drove the car with the companies consent , they have told me that there will be next to no coverage or super high excess should anything happen to me or the car while i was driving the car anyone currently, is driving grab gojek tada , rents a car, but the company also covers another young driver (for personal use only) with less than 2 yrs exp?? we are currently looking at vezel / CHR/ ioniq hybrid or regardless what car , there was no topic whatsoever i could find on this topic thanks all !!

For those guys who are getting new rides do you trade in your car or keep both? 1) as first owner kept it in tip top (always service with dealer) 2) dealers lowballig 3) FOMO, 4) low mileage 5) more painful financially in the long run 6) can use spare car for reservist How about sentimental value?

Hi, both trunk lights(boot) lights of my W204 c180k are not working(one on the right side of boot and the other on the trunk lid). Could some experience hands advise how should I troubleshoot from here? And where is the fuse location of the trunk lights? Thanks in advance.

I am driving a MPV and when doing parking at a dimly area, difficult to see the parking lot marking lines on both sides. The reverse lights are not bright enough for such purpose and only shine at the rear. I had seen MPV's installed with LED light at both sides of the rear wheels mudguard and when they engage reverse gear, both side lighted up and can see the side lines of a parking lot. Any brother here got any shop(s) lobang to recommend for installation of LED light on rear wheels mudguard. Thanks for sharing.

SINGAPORE - Passengers on a Singapore Airlines (SIA) flight bound for Shanghai on Saturday had a bit of a scare when both engines experienced a temporary loss of power amid bad weather. The incident occurred at 39,000 ft about 3.5 hours after Flight SQ836, operated by an Airbus A330-300, left Changi Airport. "Both engines experienced a temporary loss of power and the pilots followed operational procedures to restore normal operation of the engines" said the airline's spokesman. The flight with 182 passengers and 12 crew on board continued to Shanghai and touched down safely at 10.56pm local time, he added. The engines were thoroughly inspected and tested upon arrival in Shanghai with no anomalies detected. SIA is reviewing the incident with engine maker, Rolls-Royce and Airbus.

Angry driver gives lorry both fingers for blocking his turn This man flashed both middle fingers at the driver of a lorry for apparently blocking his turn. According to Stomper Weldon, who contributed the picture, a police report has been lodged over the man's behaviour. The Stomper wrote: "Is this how a Singaporean should behave? "Just because you drive a big car doesn't mean you can do anything. "This guy overtook and stopped people from using the road just because the lorry blocked his way when making a turn . "Worse of all he came down from his car and start pointing centre finger at the lorry driver. "The driver of the lorry has filed a Police report regarding this matter." Hello everyone, My current set of tyres (14 months old) have clocked 12000+ km and I just went for first round of rotation/balancing this morning. Was informed by mechanic that both front tyres are showing inner wear, thread outside still still looks very good. Mechanic told me its more of a tracking (toe) issue than alignment since the wear is happening on both tyres? Appreciate your inputs, thank you.

CNA repoprt : Jail term and caning for fortune teller who raped daughter of medium By Claire Huang | Posted: 27 August 2012 1244 hrs SINGAPORE: A fortune teller has been sentenced to 12 years' jail and six strokes of the cane for raping the daughter of a medium. Siah Kwang Yung, 40, admitted to raping an 18-year-old girl on September 12 last year at about midnight. Investigations showed that the victim's mother is deeply religious and that she has been practising as a medium for the past nine years. On September 5, the mother chanced upon Siah, who was offering fortune-telling services at a make-shift stall along Waterloo Street. Siah convinced the victim's mother that a demon had possessed her body and was the cause of her bad luck. On September 7, Siah visited the woman's flat and said he had to stay there to exorcise the demons in the house. On September 12, Siah made his move on the victim. He told the victim's mother, her boyfriend, the victim's brother and his friend to stay out of the girl's room. Then Siah proceeded to rape the victim in her bedroom. Earlier in court, the prosecution pointed out several aggravating factors in the case. The prosecution said Siah abused the family's trust in him and manipulated them. In fact, Siah had brazenly asked the victim's mother if he could perform a ritual with the victim naked. His request was rejected by the mother. The prosecution described Siah's act as despicable and asked for a sentence significantly higher than the benchmark of 10 years' jail and six strokes of the cane. The maximum penalty for the offence under 375(2) of the Penal Code is 20 years' imprisonment with a fine or caning. - CNA/wm None win ...... Fancy a medium would believe a fortune teller .... My friend was looking for a parking lot and he drove along the drive way to check...... he overshot an empty lot on his right (vertical parking on both side of the driveway in this mscp, typical design) by about 2 lots.... so he stopped and reversed...... as he reversed slowly, the car in the lot next to the empty lot suddenly reversed out and hit my fren driver's door........... the other driver came out and said not his fault!!! ........... but my fren were reversing and looking out for traffic, only when fren's was in front of this joker's lot, this joker sukka sukka reversed out and hit my fren............ i thought the case is pretty straight forward, but my other frens said 'grey area'.............. how can it be??? hope bros here can give your views, thanks

Fernando Alonso won ice races in both karts and Fiat 500s as Ferrari and Ducati's week-long Wrooom festivities came to an end at Italy's Madonna di Campiglio ski resort this evening. Was travelling out from KJE into BKE (PIE) and saw one incident right at the ent into BKE...seems like one car got hit. Further down after BPJ, the other direction an even bigger branch (or look like whole tree) on the road! 3 lanes all jammed...think it is high time NPB steps up effort to get rid of this road hazard...
