Saw the ads by BM for Vios, Altis and Wish. Think the price is very attractive. Vios for $51k will stop or slow people from migrating to Hyundai or Kia. First was TCM, then KM and now BM. Pity the PI. Kena cornered for the past 3 months.

I'm very surprised that Mondeo is now selling at 89k, same price during the period when COE was very low. Tho i must say the OMV at 25k is considered low, prob thanks to the better x-change rates, but at this price, it is certainly a good bargain and alternative to the Camry. hey it is even cheaper than Mazda 6! and yes, only 3k more than the Skoda Octavia....but of cos Octavia has higher OMV... It is quite a good bargain...in fact a VERY good bargain I think, esp with skyrocketing COE premium

Would it be unreasonable to approach a 2nd hand car dealer to offer to buy a used car, let's say a 6 mth to 1 year old Merc, at "a little above" paper value? I wonder if they will entertain me or redicule/spit at me with disgust.

Finally I made my way down to pxx xxxg BATTERY AND TYRE CO. Blk 4002, Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 1 #01-04, Singapore 569623. Tel : 6456-3344 Contact person is: Justin Initially only intent to change tyre but saw a nice 16" rim so very tempted. So without the intention to buy in the first place, start bargaining with Justin and to my surprise we closed the deal below $800/- for the 16" rim (4 nos) plus 4 205/45/R16 BS GIII tyres. How to reject such a price, so on him. Btw the price he quoted includes trading in my existing tyres and rim. Also if you mention you are member of MCF I think you should get a better price. Here are 2 pcs for show.
