  9. http://www.straitstimes.com/breaking-news/singapore/story/woman-robbed-knifepoint-while-parking-geylang-bahru-20131203 A man robbed a woman at knifepoint in her car on Sunday afternoon in Geylang Bahru, in a crime rarely seen in Singapore. The victim, a woman in her 30s, was parking her vehicle near a food centre packed with diners when the robber opened the car door and slipped into the front passenger seat, according to Chinese evening newspaper Shin Min Daily News. After taking her valuables and cash, he forced her to drive to another open-air carpark where he bound her hands with tape before making his getaway. The victim lost about $600 worth of cash and valuables, including an iPhone 5, added the paper. And I thought it was Johor Bahru.

  12. I just done my periodic maintenance to my Saga BLM & Exora yesterday @ Larkin.Workmanship is above average.Price also average but what i like is their caring attitude towards your car by a certain mechanics. My Saga change EO from Mobil S2000 Semi-Syn to Castrol Magnatec 10W-40 Semi-Syn,Denso Oil filter,Flush out and top up Original Proton coolant(Top up RM11),Change original spec spark plugs for RM48,Clean aircon filter for free plus change the o-ring for my wiper washer bottle for RM7.Exora only clean airfilter and change spark plug for RM52.Best of all their package deal include change radiator water. They also recommend using ori Proton coolant cause of the additive which is more suitable for Campro engine.I've tried tested driving for hours and let it running from 2100-2245 w/o sign of overheating.Engine also less noise compared previous EO i've tried. The shop name is Prima Intertrade which is located just between the Nasi beriyani restaurant and solicitor office.Main EO is Castrol

  14. SINGAPORE: A taxi ploughed into a convenience store located at Tiong Bahru Plaza on Friday. Police said they received a call about the accident at about 1pm. Hotline callers to MediaCorp said the impact of the accident shattered the taxi's rear glass panel as well as the glass panel of the store. A man, aged 56, was hit by the taxi. He suffered leg injures. The other two women - one aged 18, the the other 51 years old - suffered cuts from the shattered glass. All three suffered minor injuries and were sent to Singapore General Hospital. The taxi driver, a man in his 50s, escaped unharmed. Police are investigating the cause of the incident. One witness said: "It was loud. I could hear it from my friend's house. So I quickly ran down to see what happened." Another added: "There was a man who was sandwiched between the taxi and the shop. The taxi had hit him. The taxi was going to reverse, but then driver stopped himself because he was afraid the man would get injured." - CNA/ir/ms

  16. Hi Bro, I think you should be taken off the road soon. Early morning 7plus, you try to endanger other road users' lives at least 3 times. First you, turn right on a lane which is supposed to go straight only just because you did not want to queue up like the rest of us. Want to play punk right. Next, seeing a bus in front, you try to lane change without checking your blind spot and steer back into your lane when you spotted vehicle A last minute. I bet vehicle A driver must have gotten a stock right in the early morning from your stunt. Then you decided to try that stunt again immediately after the vehicle A pass you even though there were vehicle B behind vehicle A. In the end vehicle B has to slow down to let you pass in order not to go into an accident situation. Then you lane change back to the front of the bus again because as the van in front is slow. Then you again lane change back to the front of the van when there was just enough space for you to squeeze through. If you are rushing to hell, please leave others alone. Go somewhere where there are no people and do whatever you want to to kill yourself. Pui Pui Pui to you reckless and inconsiderate driver.
