  1. Hello peeps, anyone here looking to buy oversea property? Or anyone buying 1 in Melbourne? I am looking to get one apartment and im looking at Melbourne as it is more of a safe haven to invest in IMO. The price is pretty steep, capital growth is not that fantastic but in long term holding, I think it should be an uptrend. Anyone has any advice of getting one in Docklands area? Is it overpriced? This one looks like it is just beside CBD wor.   2. hi, any recommendation for service apartment for 2 months stay. 2pax only. 1 or 2 rooms is fine. budget $2k to below $3k. preferably in the west. at the budget i guess cannot afford ccr right got a distant relative need to stay for 2 months in spore. thanks!

  5. the chinese had brought illegal structure in a condominium or apartment to a whole new level. the big question is how could the owner complete his mod? such big rocks and plants need to be hoist / transport up to the penthouse unit all the residents in the building jiak sai liao and no one can stop him until he complete the illegal structure?

  7. Hi All, Was looking around at properly guru website and happen saw this HDB EA unit at Choa Chu Kang District .(think not good to post the link) . Valuation at 420K + owner wan 20k cash . Move in condition. Unit near school, sheng song, a stone throw to LRT, 10 mins walks to Bukit Panjang Plaza. Actually quite near to junction between Old Woodlands Rd and upper Bukit Timah Rd . Upon viewing the unit with my friend (he is also a renovation contractor) , my friend comments that the Timber Laminiation at dinner area and all the way to bedrooms is going to give way might due to mopping the floor too wet causing to pook, can see edges coming up. His recommendation best is to remove and redo with new timber or lay marble again cost 10K+. Unit has too many down lite , need to remove, too many timber finishing on the wall , need to remove. I express interest on this unit to the agent but need to lower down the cash top up maybe 5k to 10k cos of renovation and due to other issue(econ criss) . But some how agent take his own swee time to neg with the other agent( Co-broke) . And the top up cash is slowly reduce . Lastest rec sms from him is 15K cash top up. I believe he dun wish lower too much due to commission. Anyway , i hope experiences bros can give me some comments ..... Thanks Chogokin

If existing tenancy agreement expires and to renew the rental (1) must we give business back to the previous agent (is this the law) (2) if previous agent lousy can I renew the exisiting rental with another agent or better still by pass agent and do it myself thanks Your advice really appreciated.

  10. Hello Going with my family (parents, wife, son & me) to Shanghai for 7 nights. Looking for convenient and clean service apartment. Any recommendations ? Must be in Pu Si because I do not want to be trapped when peak hours start. Thinking about 1. New Harbour 2. Metropole 3. Somerset Grand Very biased towards Somerset Grand but also the most expensive by far.

Gettin married end of tis year..lookin 4 HDB house around 5room at least,in east area.from the calls we made from the classified. seems like all areas,all apartment sizes lookin 4 above valuation.. Valuation price is reasonable..ard 280-310k but all owners want to sell above valuation at least 20k & the most we encountered at least 80k..wtf man.. even a house we saw,scrap,not renovated at all..original stock condition since 1980s oso selling at 30k above valuation. do u guys tink the boom in property market price will burst?
