Tried searching the forum and the discussions were very old (10 years back!) Would want to add a 12V socket (or 2 sockets, depends on cost and complexity) at the car boot area - anyone done it before? Any recommendation on workshops that can do it nicely? TIA!

I noticed that recently many new topics have been added to the wrong category. I understand that some topics are pretty grey and there may be some confusion when adding new threads. However, straightforward ones such as car grooming, repair & servicing etc should not be finding its way to Lite & EZ and so forth. At the same time car related threads should not end up inside Lite & EZ too. Doesn't warrant a warning but just a reminder to all and also make life easier for the mods. Thank you in advance.

Under others subforum, there are lite and easy, makan and football. Since property discussion is also quite popular, how about adding another folder for property? Jus my suggestion.

Hi bros/sis, Just wanna ask if adding fog lighting does help with visibility. Especially on rainy days. I find it quite hard to see lane markings at times during rainy days. So have been contemplating in adding fog light if it does help. Hopefully bros/sis here can give me some tips on whether it helps or not. Considering to ask my AD on the cost of adding one. Thanks

Ever notice that kids nowadays are very active, or should I say Hyper-active ? Want to know what is my take on this ? If you notice, all our process foods and nutrition, have Fortified this, More of that, new improved "formula", full of rich sources of "Goodness"-gracious-me. They have to find all ways to attract you to buy their products, so by adding more Protein, Calcium, Iron, Vitamins, Minerals, Clinically proven substances, your kids can be Smarter, Stronger, Grows faster, "healthier"... But in reality, it makes them : Hyperactive, Irritable, Distracted, Restless, etc. Who would buy a Milk Powder that has Lesser of the "Goodness" ? Question : Is more of these Goodness, really good ? Imagine your kid drinks 1 serving of fortified milk that has enough of "Nutrients" for the day, but he needs 4 feeds a day ? Next he has crackers that have that same of those good nutrients Next he goes to a Fast Food meal and drinks Isotonic and eats some snacks... all claim to contain all the essential Nutrients his body needs... No wonder our kids are on Overdrive these days. My brother was having a tough time managing his ever active children and they ran around like monkeys, can't sleep and consistently perspiring. I recommended that he change the Milk Powder from the Fortified one to a very normal one. Guess what ? All his children slept that night from 11pm to 4pm the next day and have been "toned down" to normal mode. Time to rethink on the things you buy. I really suggest we stick to the normal ones. but where are you gonna find foodstuff that has Lesser Goodness ??

Some car buyers are "sensitive" to car models being use as taxis (e.g white merc, sonata, magentis, airwave etc) and avoid such models. Wonder if any of you share the same concept when it comes to the interior. There are some interiors with bright double-din touch screen players and GPS sticking out of windscreen that it feels like sitting in a cab (less the fare meter but there are other meters instead). Thought of upgrading my ICE but dun want to overdo. So what are your views?

Hi Forumers, If a driver is to name a person into his car insurance, is it going to increase his premium? If the person (to be added into the insurance) has claim before (about 6 years back), is it going to increase the premium too? Thanks.

I am itchy to add a 12V adapter/connector at the boot area (like those cigratte lighter). Wonder can I simply tap the boot light cable?
