  1. Hi all, my stockAD07 is gone soon and I'm looking for a replacement....but alas AD07 no longer in production!! The successor AD08 is so much more exp that I intend to try other brands. Looking at something of similar performance and price range (AD07 was slightly below $200 per piece last time, 205/45R16) Any recommendations? Was looking at the following (online research only, haven't go workshop see), any idea how they fair against the AD07? -Dunlop Z1 -Bridgestone RE11 or RE001 -Bridgestone RE01R(still available?) -Hankook RS2/3 thank you. edite: oh anyone tried Federal's Perf tyres? What is their equivalent? comments?
  2. For the same tire size, RS2 or AD07 got a stiffer sidewall? Users who have used both before please comment. Thanks
  3. Hello bros! Selling the above mentioned! Pics are over at Classifieds. Suitable for Audi, Volks etc.. PM me or call me at 97954929 to discuss. Price negotiable!
  4. was considering, since ad07 is good for dry and f1 for wet. What would the outcome be if front is AD07 and rear is Eagle F1? Currently on AD07 and thinking of changing the rear to F1.
  5. Hi, Just upgraded to AD07s. Pretty good tyres compared to the previous set of Kumho Ecstas KU31 which I used to have. Grip is really good on dry weather. Have yet to try wet weather. From 0 to 100km/h (about 6 plus secs), the tyres still grip tightly to the road. Cornering is also a lot more firm compared with KU31. My ride already using koni shocks, which are pretty hard. But, the AD07s further add on more firmness to cornerings. Road noise didn't feel much different from ku31. Besides, there are a lot of other noises in my ride. Some r caused my the coils and other stuff. The drive is still reasonably comfy. However, dun expect very smooth ride. AD07 also feels a lot lighter than my old Ku31. Have not fully run in the tyres. On overall, the tyres are a good buy. Just bought recently. Great price for the tyres. Almost bought Hankook Rs2, but I guess the Rs2 would have better wet weather grip compared with the AD07. I'm not an all weather cheongster too. At first, wanted to buty rs2. But, I drive pretty slow during wet weather. End up choosing AD07. Better wet weather grip would ve been more desirable. Then again, I drive real slow during rain. PS: Other worth considering tyres prob include the new Bridgestone Adrenaline and potenza s03. May be next yr try s03.
  6. anyone tried this yet?
  7. Which is the best in terms of outright dry grip? 215/40/17 for RS2 and AD07, 205/40/17 for RT615. Y isit that the Falken and Hankook are only xxx/A/A whereas my current are Maxxis xxx/AA/A but is inferior in the dry??
  8. I'm going to upgrade my wheels by the end of the year. Going to Consider either AD07 or Toyo R1R. Anyone used these 2 tyres before? I've heard that the toyo R1R is better on dry, what about the wet? Toyo is of course slightly more expensive (20-30 bucks more), but if it is a better tyre, I do not mind. Anyone knows any good and bad points?
  9. Hi.. Can anyone tell me where and how much for new AD07? Size is 165/55/14. Thanks.
