...during the fasting month, this is happening <_< Non-muslims are instructed to have their meals in the restrooms as a form of respect for the majority fasting I find it really preposterous and sad! for that, I am glad, that we have and practice multi-racialism here. [shakehead] I recall, there was a case here, that the principal asked the canteen to be halal and no pork to be brought in by the other races. Never heard of the case since! Again, reminders, keep to the topic and how would you feel as a parent if your kid was treated like this?

The driver of a white lorry, Mr Ramli Akbar, was arrested after his vehicle swerved across four lanes on Sembawang Road before hitting a tree, tipping over and crashing into an Audi sedan on Monday night. A pill found on the driver has been sent to the Central Narcotics Bureau for testing. A lorry driver who had been taking shipyard workers home was arrested after losing control of his vehicle and swerving across four lanes into a tree. The lorry, with three Indian workers in the back and three locals in the front, ran into the kerb at a junction before careering across Sembawang Road into the tree and tipping over onto its side. It skidded for about 3m before crashing into a white Audi sedan parked in front of a seafood restaurant. One Indian worker, Mr Chala Kannan, in his 30s, was taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He later regained consciousness and was being treated for a broken finger yesterday. The other workers escaped with superficial injuries. Legal for cyclists to cycle across traffic lights?
Jamessoh posted a topic in General Car Discussion
Is it legal for cyclist to cycle across traffic lights? Sometime ago, I remember reading a column on the papers saying that it is against the law. Because sometimes when cyclist cycle across traffic lights at green man or at the zebra crossing, the cars have to calculate the time taken to slow down according to their speed. This is different from slowing down because of pedestrians. It can be dangerous when the cyclist is going at a fast speed. anyone can comment? -
Im sure most if not many of us staying in HDB will encounter this before... Going up MSCP, in front is a souped up Japanese car.. (It could be a Integra, WRX ) With a big exhaust pipe, basically one can feel the vibrations caused by the "vroom, vroom" ... The worst thing is its lowered so go over hump have to do S curve, go up slope like tortoise.. This jams up like 5 or 6 cars behind going up to park too!!!.. If you are the driver of the teg or wrx, what will you do??

Juz encounter one farking idiot who dashed across the road w/o looking for oncoming vehicles. luckily i was travelling damn slow as it was drizzling. missed that S.O.B by inches. he con't running after i e-brake oblivious of what he has juz done. boiling at that time, i chased him down into the HDB blocks and gave him a good one. stupid reply from him made me nearly strangle him:' sorry sorry i was running didnt see u..' didn't see me?! my car is small but not to the extend that it became invisible. gave him one hell of a time after i hear dat. the by standers were rubber necking and staring at my direction as usual. knn~ bros and sis, rainy days are here. drive safe and look out for suicidal jay walkers.

I just wonder what should we do if someone dash across the expressway and we are going at ~100KM/H? Do we try to avoid him at all cost (this means banging other cars or yourself crashing into barriers)? If not, do we brake and slow down and hope for the best (so as to minimise risk to other drivers)? I am asking this because quite sometime back, I recall seeing a worker running across the expressway to the construction site. I was like WTF..... I was quite far so I could see and slow down. I just wonder what if he dash out just like that and I am unable to react in time?

Oct 15, 2010 Help across the Causeway ON OCT 6, I had driven to Johor Baru in a Singapore-registered vehicle. After lunch at a hospital near the Causeway, I found that the car would not start. One motorist offered to help but he did not have the jumper cables to help restart the battery. Then came a taxi driver and a young doctor, and with their help, I was able to restart the car. An hour later, at a mall, the battery failed again. This time, two families came to my aid. I am very touched by the help offered by these strangers. They go to show how important bilateral relations between neighbouring states are and how they can affect their citizens' interactions. What a sad story. This jaywalker should be jailed ======================================== http://www.straitstimes.com/Breaking%2BNew...ory_350719.html A MAN who dashed across the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) yesterday evening created chaos which led to five vehicles crashing near the Toh Guan exit. The aftermath of the series of collisions across the three-lane expressway left one motorcyclist pinned under a lorry. The 53-year-old man died soon after. Aircraft service engineer Alvin Tan, 45, who was in one of the cars involved, said the man who ran across the expressway was hit by another car which flung him into the lane he was travelling on. Mr Tan said he slowed down to avoid hitting him, but the motorcycle behind him bumped his car and the motorcyclist ended up being struck by the lorry. The 28-year-old man who ran across the road suffered slight abrasions and was arrested for his rash act. This is the X-hole (Blue shirt) who dashed across the PIE

Do you agree ? Taken from http://chinese-girl-dating.blogspot.com/20...aysia-city.html Malaysia is a country in South East Asia which has a lot of chinese people and chinese tradition. Chinese people in Malaysia most are descendants of Chinese who arrived between the fifteenth and the mid-twentieth centuries. Different Chinese girls from different part of the country are known to have stereotypes accorded to them by observant men. Today we shall examine the various stereotypes given to Chinese girls from different states, with a twist of my own opinion and perception. You are free to disagree, and to contribute so we can make this an informative albeit shallow startup list for men in general. As of 2008, the majority of Chinese people are mainly concentrated in the west coast states of west Malaysia with significant percentage of chinese (40% and above) such as Penang, Perak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Johor. Chinese Women or Chinese Girls in Malaysia are take part in society. Most of Malaysia chinese women are beautiful, with still hold the chinese traditional tradition. Some guys from Singapore and Indonesia, from a long time are well known for their special relationship with Malaysia Chinese girls. Here are some information about Malaysian Chinese Girl in various parts in Malaysia such as in Johor, Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Perlis, and others. 1. Johor women In my years in Johor, I think I am the best to comment on Johor women in general. This is where you can find totally overweight girls, strewn just about every corner of the street. It is the FAT women

Under New Management says the advertisement with new pricing for the Skoda range, the Superb is going for 82K++ and Octavia 2 going for 56k. Finally some competitive pricing that should kick start the market, the Octavia at that price is a steal? Kudos to the new management.

1. I've withnessed on several occasions that some cyclists simply dashed across zebra crossing. 2. Is there a rule that mentioned that they have to push the bicycle across the zebra crossing? What if they dashed through and your car hit them? I suppose driver's fault again . Regards,

Hey guys.. just wanna find out the locations in JB where I can change the brake pads of a '04 Wira 1.5. The car belongs to my gf's dad. Noticed some burning smell and had to press harder to brake since yesterday. He doesn't have the intention to replace it until the next servicing date and I'm gonna replace it for him for safety reasons. I understand that it will be much cheaper to do that across the causeway. Any fellow proton drivers here willing to shed some light on some reliable garages? Very disappointed over the QC. Less than 20k mileage and the brake pad's already misfunctioning.

A list of the improvements made to the Volvo range for the 2004 model year in UK. Not sure if we'll see some of the enhancements in the cars from the local agent, SM Motors, though. ================================================================================ ========== 30-Apr-03 There
