Hi, Am at a lost. Did a search on the history posting but just bits and pieces. Still don't get it. Anybody can assist me on how to set my crossover setting for my Alpine 9815? I'm on passive set-up. Ice set up as follows: HU : Alpine 9815 / 60W x 4 AMP: Genesis Profile 2 / 75W x 2 SPK : Infinity 6000CS (Component Spk) / Impedance 4OHMS / Frequency response 53Hz-21kHz / Sensitivity (2.83V, 1m)= 92db / Crossover Freq = 3.5kHz Appreciate any feedback. Totally confused!! Cheers...

My current Alpine speakers sound can't really make it. Intending to find a reasonable pair of 6in components to match my Alpine 9815. As not intending to add a amp yet, will CDT CL61 be a good bet? Whats the diff between CL61 and 62? Any other brands around the 300 or so price range that will be good too? As I got no woofer, I am using the 6X9 behind to give the bass. But good bass from the component is also important to me. No need super strong as I am not into techno and stuff. Looking forward to you guys recommendation!!

Dear All, I have seen on other forums that they claim that Alpine 9815 has a RDS tuner. However, mine does not show any names of the station. Have to key in myself. Anyone using the same HU care to advise on the above? Cheers!!

Dear All, I am looking at changing my head unit and I am looking at the Clarion 835 or the Apline 9815/9813. Any bros got comments about the above head units? Anyone has compared both before? I believe the 9815 is more ex than 835. Any bros got lobang for the above head unit? Got a quote from Edison at SLS for Clarion's 835 at 680 with warranty. 9815 discontinued already. Looking forward to all you guys help! Cheers!!
