  1. There has been a thread on this last year, but it never addressed the OP's question. I have the subject Sony XAV-70BT. The manual says it will play MPEG-4 simple mode. I've used Xvid4PSP and Handbrake to encode existing videos to the proper settings. When the movie rendering is complete, it plays just fine on my PC, but in the head unit, playing from either disc or a USB drive, it takes upwards of 60 seconds to start playing. When it finally does start, there are terrible AV sync issues - where the video will lead the audio by 10-15 seconds. They sync gets progressively worse - but right from the beginning, it's off by a few seconds. I've tried changing settings within the encoding programs, and even tried different movies - but I have the same results. Has anyone found a good program/profile to use to encode movies that will play on this head unit? I'm quite disappointed, and may very well return it to the merchant. Thanks, E
