A 48-year-old man has been found murdered at Geylang Lorong 8, the police said in a statement on Monday. Police were alerted to the case via a call on May 3, at about 9:09pm. The victim was found lying motionless at the location given. He was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital but was subsequently pronounced dead at about 10.12 pm. On Monday, citizen journalism website Stomp reported that a man is believed to have been stabbed at Geylang Lorong 8 on Sunday night. A contributor by the name of Nicholas told the website that the victim was lying in a pool of blood on the road. The case has been classified as murder and investigations are ongoing.
