ok i know this has been discussed before, but i just need a quick answer from those who know. i got a speeding ticket exceed 1-20km/h $130 4demerit points. i also forgotten when was my last traffic offence but this is my 1st speeding offence since 1990. cut story short just wanna know any point or way to appeal and chances of success, if not, i will just pay up and forget about it.

A Singaporean businessman led police on a 20km car chase when he tried to flee after failing to bribe them on Sunday. In the 11.30pm incident, the 50-year old suspect, driving a Mercedes Benz, was headed to Singapore when he tried to cut the vehicle queue at the Bangunan Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine complex (CIQ), obstructing other vehicles in the process. Two police traffic officers on duty at the CIQ complex then tried to take him to the nearest police station. However, the man then got agitated and refused to cooperate, and offered a RM550 (S$213) bribe to Lance Corporal Awang Mohd Massahdi Awang Abunawas and Lance Corporal Mashri Sedek, said the officers. As above. How many demerits point and how much is the fine? What if I have exceeded the speed limit by 19km/h? Same fines or lesser fine? What if I have exceeded the speed limit by 30km/h? Higher fines and more demerits points? Pls advise. Thanks! -

I believe by increase speed limit 10-20km/h will help to solve expressway traffic issue... but their solution is to increase erp rates.... or build more gantries...
