Is this normal for a 1.6 4AT car?

went for a short trip to meleka. was driving at north south E-way and found that my rpm jus wont drop and fixed at 4000...is it normal?

Was driving along TPE one evening, noticed that there's this QQ cutting in/out traffic at ard 100km/hr. Driver using it as though sports car. 0.8 or 1.1cc small car, how stable can it be at such high speed? Playing with his life and others....

The route also gets jammed up during bad weather, when it snows or rains heavily. A major reason for the persistent congestion is that the 3,710km highway, which runs through seven provinces and regions before ending in Tibet, is a favourite of coal truckers. While the capital imposes a flat rate on large vehicles, the surrounding cities tax according to weight. Sunday I got stuck in one for almost an hour due to YOG traffic diversions. It stretched for about 3km I think.

Got this from an italian site, and translated the below with WorldLingo. Looks like a soop up Fabia, called Brisk Fabia (probably from it's Rally heritage) it beats the look of the new UK made Honda Civi-Type R, love this look. But running 0-100km seems a little far fetch even with a 2.0TFSI engine, but that is what the site says, bad translation though but you roughly get what they are talking about. is there any car that can run @ 100Km/h but only 2000rpm ? what is the rpm for normal @80km/h what is the rpm for normal @90km/h what is the rpm for normal @100km/h my previous citreon 2.0i 80km/h @2000rpm 100km/h @2400rpm

Bros, got this question always wanted to ask : How do manufacturers come up with their 0-100 timings ? Is it done on the track ? If so, arent there many factors involved eg. wind speed, temperature, grip levels etc ? Or is it done on a dyno with controlled environment ?

Just wanted to share with you my experience of having the front left tyre burst (Bridgestone Turanza 205/55R16) while at ~100km/h along CTE this morning... Surprisingly enough, the car did not loose control when the tyre went burst. I only hear a sudden loud "blok blok..." sound. I quickly slow down and filter to the left lane, then to the road shoulder. Initially, I thought it is just a punctured tyre. To my horror, the tyre sidewall was suffering a large cracked line of about 6 inches. I could see the teared portion with wire exposed. I was in deep rushed to change up the tyre and forgot to take a picture of it. My mileage is closed to 48K. Though typically tyre replacemet usually start when close to 70K or so. Any comment on this? Really dunno why the sidewall will crack in such a way. It is pretty dangerous if there isn't any tell-tale sign. If at higher speed say ~140km/h along NS HW, that could be a disaster liao. Anyway, had the 4 tyres replaced to Maxxis MA-21, highly recommended by shop owner over the Bridgestone GR80 for wet floor gripping. Will let you guys know more about its performance at later time. In conclusion, I am pleasantly surprise that the car still remain controllability even though the front tyre burst when I was cruising at 100km/h.

Just curious for ordinary folks like us, how do we gauge our ride's 0-100km/h timing without using additional equipments/sources?

Hi, Just changed new set of wheels, did balancing & alignment. I noticed with these new set of tyres, as I accelerate to close 100km, I can feel my steering wheel vibrating. What are the probable causes? Car model:92'Nissan b13 1.5 ex-saloon.....

Find that the steering wheel becomes very light (something like no feedback) when travelling at 100km/h. What can be done to improve on this? Me driving a AE111 (M) with aspec db and sports rims, hope this info helps.
