  1. A total redesign of the compact SUV from Daihatsu / Toyota stable. Sadly, it is not longer that cute, tall but compact SUV we have been used to, since it introduction some 10 years ago (2nd generation). Is it just me, but I find the latest version have heavy hint of another ASEAN SUV, Honda BR-V... 3. Looking at budget 7 seaters and a change from my past sedan cars. T7 caught my eyes cos of its SUV yet 7 seaters and within my budget. I can try "suvmpv" 1 shot. 1.5L should be under power but it also save road tax like the freed, sienta and apv. any feedback on this auto Terios 7? quality built? problems? etc...
  4. Hi guys, if u r in e Rush/Terios forum, kindly help post this msg there cos I wanna clarify with whoever I encounter today. I was driving along Thomson Rd just now and came to a stop @ traffic junction between Balestier Rd n Thomson Rd, in front of Thomson Medical Center. I was on e 2nd lane from e left, waiting for e traffic light to turn green. A white Rush/Terios with loud music on was on e 3rd lane just beside my car on e right. From what I see, there are 5 lanes @ e junction and which 2 lanes on e right is turning right lane, or can say 1 can turn or straight. And if u drive straight, there r 4 lanes for e cars to move into, so technically, if I'm on e 2nd lane, I should be driving into 2nd lane afterwards when light go green, right? Furthermore, extreme left lane has bus lane markings on e floor and when I drive straight, I'm still following e bus lane markings. I just don't understand why e Rush/Terios driver horn n flashes @ me... After that, I wanted to turn left up to PIE, so I signal left. I check all mirrors on e left n no sign of any car or bus, so I filter left into lane 1 on e left. Suddenly, this Rush/Terios driver horn n flashes @ me from e back again. Then I realise he's behind my car which his car wasn't there in e first place. I'm sorry if my driving was slow and hinder ya speeding to somewhere. Also, apologise as I'm driving a slow vehicle... Btw, I'm driving e SX4 just now...
  5. Now that flood is most common in singapore. Thinking of getting a Daihatsu Terios Anybody own it before, can advise the pro and cons of this car and the fc?
  6. I am not sure whether my eyes is playing tricks on me, but I seem to be seeing more PI RUSH than AD TERIOS on the road. People rather sacrifice the risk buying PI cars without the necessary 3 years warranty (if bought from small PI), then buying AD Terios with guarantee support. Furthermore the PI models are more expensive as compare to AD ones. The "T" brand really makes wonder. Any official statement on no. of units sold for both? My friend is asking me which model to buy or should I say the answer is obvious? Any comments are appreciated
  7. Just to check any of the bros here known wat is the comm of the SE if he/she manage to sell a Terios. This helps to bargain for free gift as one of the SE try to bullsh1t me it is less than $300 per car sold.

  10. Hi all, I am driving a Terios Auto for a month liao. Generally, I am happy with the pick up (I know the pick up is damn slow but still acceptable) But I am more concerned with the overall speed and RPM. When I'm driving 80-90kmh, the RPM is around 2300~2500 The moment I hit 100kmh, the RPM is 3000 and above. I heard from my colleague that his Fit hits only RPM 2500 when he's at 110kmh Is there any legal mod to increase the speed to 110kmh and still maintain a reasonable RPM around 2500-3000? I tried being light footed but in vain. Oh yeah, I drove a manual previously so I'm a crap with autos BTW, the specification as shown below. Engine type 3SZ, inline 4-cylinder, 16-valve DOHC, DVVT Total displacement cc 1,495 Bore x stroke mm 72.0 x 91.8 Max. output kW/rpm 77/6,000 Max. torque Nm/rpm 140/4,400 Compression ratio 10 Fuel system EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) Fuel tank capacity litres 50 4 A/T 1st: 2.731, 2nd: 1.526, 3rd: 1.000, 4th: 0.696, Rev.: 2.290 Final reduction gear ratio 4 A/T 4WD: 5.571 Tyres 215/65R16 Fuel consumption 4 A/T L/100km 8.0 8.4 CO2 emission 4 A/T g/km 188 196
  11. recently kinda looking at SUV, smaller sized ones though.. Looking at these few models Perodua Kembara, Daihatsu Terios, Suzuki Escudo 3dr, Looking at 4wd with engine cc lesser than 2000c.. Must sit 5 too. besides these few anyone got any other suggestions? Does anyone have info for these and other similar style SUV? wish to hear more opinions.. Cheers. Rav4 was a favourite but only 2.0 and 5dr got 4wd, which too big for my liking.. Pajero 3.5 3dr was the top favourite but road tax and the FC can kill..
