Various Latest German Make Vehicle Models are equipped with the new in-car entertainment system like MBUX in Mercedes, ID6/7/8/9 in BMW/Rolls Royce/Mini, PCM4/5/6 in Porsche, MIB2/3/4 in Audi/Volkswagen/Skoda/Seat/Bentley/Lambo. 

But cars sold from PI usually come with a map of Europe or other regions, and some cars sold from the local dealer has no Navigation at all, so new owners will be facing 7 issues:

1. No working in-built Navigation system, which makes this fancy voice commands: "Hi Mercedes", "Hello BMW" almost useless because you can only do "Call Max" or "Radio" which was available in previous generations like 10 years ago.
2. Full Screen Map view in the Instrument Cluster will be just a blank screen. In fact, this feature is the most attractive and has the most high-tech feel, and is a key selling point to most new model buyers, because it is the first ever full screen map view in instrument cluster aka virtual cockpit in Mercedes/BMW/AUDI.
3. Some models come with one very nice cutting edge feature: Augmented Reality Navigation(option Code U19 in Merc), and original Dashcam recorder, but without a working in-build Navigation system, these options are basically wasted.
4. Some models come with HUD Heads-up display, but without a working in-build Navigation system the HUD displays the digital speedo only.
5. Some models comes with options like Road Sign Recognition / Traffic Sign Assist / Speed Limit Info / Road Base Speed Adaptation / Traffic Jam Assist, which is not working at all without local navigation system.
6. Some Performance models comes with a feature called self-define Race Track like AMG TRACK PACE, M LAPTIMER etc, all wont work perfectly without local navigation map.
7. Mercedes me and Connected Drive and Digital Key all won't work perfectly without the local navigation system.

People paid high for these features, it works in UK perfectly, but now it is not working in Singapore all because there is no local navigation system.

Someone say my car comes with Apple CarPlay / Android Auto to serve as a navigation system in the car, it is true that CarPlay / Android Auto is doing very well in terms of navigation because it has the most updated map data and live traffic data, and can choose different navigation apps like Google map or Waze map. But all of these can not be the reason to lose out on the more premium experience of the original in-built navigation.
