The EC 165 K audio kit consists of two 165 mm (6.5 ") woofers with coaxial tweeters.
Like all K2 Power speakers, the EC 165 K coaxial woofers feature Kevlar ®membranes . These yellow membranes with ideal characteristics: lightness, rigidity and damping diffuse a dynamic sound, faithful and perfectly defined. They are supported by exclusive profile TMD suspensions to control the generated resonances and reduce the distortion effects.
The 2 inverted dome TKM tweeters are composed of aramid fibers. Their exclusive "M" shaped profile allows for better control of the deformation of the dome and smoothly and accurately reproduces high frequencies up to 22 kHz. Their supports have been redesigned for more robustness and reduced height. The overall height is thus reduced to its maximum: 74 mm. These tweeters are equipped with built-in filters.
The kit is supplied with aluminum and mesh grilles.
