The flat paper-foam-paper cone, which is pressed into a sandwich composite material with special embossing, ensures low-resonance, clean and open-sounding midrange reproduction. The flat and extremely powerful ferrite drive with optimised airflow and magnetic field symmetry, in combination with the dual fibre spider, which enables stable and long-term elastic suspension, guarantee a powerful bass. In addition, the RSE 160 features a sturdy, well-ventilated die-cast aluminum basket, a polished pole plate and a 32 mm voice coil.

The finely drawn 25 mm aluminum-ceramic domes with pan and tilt function for adjusting the dispersion characteristics and the finely wrapped, copper-coated aluminum wire in conjunction with a vented coil enable clearest highs and harmonize perfectly thanks to the specially tuned crossovers. These can be adjusted 3 times in the high frequency range and can be adjusted with a high frequency level adjustment of 0 dB, -3 dB and -6 dB. The crossovers have additional high-quality low-distortion air coils with premium foil capacitors. A high-resolution, fresh and detailed tweeter paired with powerful, dynamic bass and a powerful, voluminous, warm midrange – a system that convinces, not only thanks to its installation-friendly dimensions.

The RSE 80 is the logical extension to the 3-way RSE system. The paper-foam-paper cone can also be found here. The high-end sandwich cone guarantees consistent sound characteristics, even in 3-way operation. The stiffened, powder-coated and flow-optimized aluminum die-cast basket fits visually to the RSE 160. The powerful neodymium magnet with the optimized magnetic field symmetry and the large core bore, which ensures optimized ventilation and cooling, provides the necessary, level-stable drive. Equipped with easy-to-install connection terminals, flat dimensions and a high degree of efficiency, the RSE 160 is the ideal extension to a 3-way system. The MRX-3W crossover set is required for passive operation.
