Flow forming is one of the most advanced technique introduced to the wheel manufacturing process in recent years.
The centrepiece of this manufacturing technique involves the spinning of wheel barrel at high speed & temperature, thus extending and forming the final shape and width of the wheel. This technology requires less manufacturing materials, hence creating lightweight but stronger aluminium wheels!! This is all due to increased tensile strength of the aluminium as the result of constant stretching and compressing of the material.
