Metal Treatment MT-10's lubrication technology is based on tribologic methods that improve lubricity and load-carrying capacity by improving metal surface characteristics and creating a stable, chemical, corrosion-controlled, halide boundary film. MT-10 is a blend of highly refined oils and proprietary additives and contains no solid lubricants, chlorinated solvents or phosphate compounds. Once applied, MT-10 provides five mechanisms of improvement:

MT-10 smoothes metal surfaces with no danger of build up or changes in tolerances. MT-10 causes an electrochemical reaction to take place on the metal surfaces, developing an exchange of positive and negative ions. This creates a charge of positive ions on the two contacting surfaces, thus reducing the friction and wear that would normally take place. Reduced friction and wear promotes a more efficient engine.
Once applied, MT-10 provides five mechanisms of improvement:

Directions
- Add 8 oz. to 4 to 6 quarts of oil in crank case
- For engines with an oil capacity above 6 quarts, add 1-1/2 oz. per each quart of oil
- Add to engine during oil and filter change
- Do not displace any motor oil
- Follow manufacturer's recommended oil change intervals
- Add MT-10 at every oil change for optimal engine performance and protection
- MT-10 can also be used in other automotive applications
- MT-10 can be used with engine oil containing high level of ester (ester-rich oil) and less fuel consumption type of engine oil
