Yc86 Clutched November 3, 2005 Share November 3, 2005 yay... jacked up the car n found the screw plug thingy. had to use pliers as it was very tight but can be screwed up by hand. used a container to hold the coolant. had to open the pressure cap to allow it to gush out quickly but didn't drain it completely. then cut a section of the hose connecting the rad to the engine.. no coolant leak , and.......... realised the WT sensor adaptor was of the wrong size. so if anyone's getting one for their swifties' it's 28mm... i bought the 36mm by mistake bought a new adaptor today from poh seng at short street and a new sensor. cheaper than auto bac's by over $10... but don't think it's autogauge brand.. Awaiting the shrink tubing tomorrow so now swiftie is grounded with an open section in the hose. routed the wires for the gauge inside first but couldn't decide where to place it. anyway will post pics of the setup tmr once i get it done nicely... i try to solder all connectors and shrink wrap them so they look nicer... instead of twisting them n taping up but some parts bo pian cos can't solder in the car so have to tape up... will post pics of the setup tmr...
