Hoppe Clutched October 2, 2005 Author Share October 2, 2005 I haven't changed it before but I think it was $40 per door. Not too sure.
Yc86 Clutched October 2, 2005 Share October 2, 2005 oh... thanx any place where can i change it? (preferbly in the west or north)
Mivec9 1st Gear October 2, 2005 Share October 2, 2005 was quoted by a mech...50 bucks per door....siong man. Think in terms of budget, we can get the mech to add additional small rubber to cover the leak...cheaper.

Yc86 Clutched October 2, 2005 Share October 2, 2005 (edited) cheaper option = pasting rubber strips over? (can D.I.Y? ) i already tried using silicon to seal it up but flakes peel off after wiping.. Also tried clear masking tape to tape it up... but it looks stupid and somehow water still gets inside when washing car. Yc86 Clutched October 7, 2005 Share October 7, 2005 er.. one more question. all swifts have 2 radiator fans right? where is the location of the thermo switch? and do both radiator fans share the same thermo switch or seperate? planning to do a rad fan bypass switch..
Mivec9 1st Gear October 8, 2005 Share October 8, 2005 we have one radiator fan and the other is for aircon. location of thermo switch is below the top radiator hose. The thermo switch only on the radiator fan. Why u wanna bypass the switch??
Yc86 Clutched October 8, 2005 Share October 8, 2005 (edited) "below the top radiator hose" is refering to the left or right fan? (when looking at the car face on) wanna bypass so i can put a switch to control the fan manually~ prefer to have more control Edited October 8, 2005 by Yc86
Mivec9 1st Gear October 8, 2005 Share October 8, 2005 right fan. huh? control fan manually? By right, the thermostat is there to ensure the temperature is constant so that optimum combustion can take place. Too low or too high temp won't give the best or ideal efficiency. ↡ Advertisement
