Mivec9 1st Gear July 26, 2005 Share July 26, 2005 juz that older cars are recommended to use thicker oil...but no harm using synth oil..which decibel and me are getting excellent Fc... not forgetting we always ramp the accelerator...

Ex_vagrant Neutral Newbie July 27, 2005 Share July 27, 2005 Hi Bros, Recently, noticed my ride giving out creaking sounds after travelling like 10-20mins on the highway. Sounds seems to come from the back. The creaking sound is most noticeable when crossing humps. Any similar encounters? Thanks...
Hoppe Clutched July 27, 2005 Author Share July 27, 2005 suspension gone? Anyway, I guess it's more or less related to suspension... ie, shafts, etc.

Hoppe Clutched August 27, 2005 Author Share August 27, 2005 (edited) Xtraun, Gonna do an oil change soon. Considering to lower from 15W to 10W and eventually to Full Synthetic. Just a qn for you, when you changed from dinosaur to synthetic, did you do it in one change of oil or did you change over gradually? Mivec9 1st Gear August 27, 2005 Share August 27, 2005 Hi bro, hee, for me, i change it in one change of oil - not gradual change. As my 10k for CAS synthetic oil juz finished, have juz switched to another synthetic blend catalyst oil. So which oil r u intending to change? I did my servicing inclusive of spark plugs and oil filter for $27 (brought my own oil) ↡ Advertisement
