All Airwave Owners,

'Been following this thread for a while (~ 3months) & interested in this car. Guess you guys should have a good feel of your Airwaves' FC, performance & problems (if any?) by now. Care to share?

Hi Honda Airwavers,

I am a newbie here. Can someone please help me to clear my doubts?

1) Since the population of AirWavers are still consider minority which makes the car unique, would there be problem if we need to source for spare parts? I am thinking would it be expensive to import spare parts from Japan if any part of the car is spoiled. Unless there is really an increase in the population of people owing Airwavers. Comments?

2) Why does Kah Motors not bring in Airwave and sell? Anyone knows abt this information?

3) Can someone please vote for the most reliable PI that we can find in SG?

Hi Bensheares

Welcome! First & foremost, U must like the look n practicality of this car. Imagine living with it for the next 2 or more years. Honda VTEC engine is renown for its sheer pleasure and responsiveness. Owning the car for 3 months oreli, it is still very satisfying. If I could accept and live with the price quoted earlier, I would hv opt for the 7 speed gear transmission version i.e. L series which gives low RPM at high speed.

1) There is always some element of risk in buying a PI car. Just like in business & investment; you hv to weigh the risk to reward ratio. Anyway, the engine parts are similar/close to JAZZ/FIT/CITY model. The only concern you may hv is the body parts

2) You have to call KM to find out. In the case of WISH, BM is still sticking by their rules of not carrying this best selling PI model.

3) Maybe other brothers/sis here can help you. I guess it all depend on the package price and the SE which you deal with. Lost touch for 3 mths, hence can't help u much.

Cheers!

The Airwave is equipped with a Honda Multimatic S continuously variable automatic transmission, to respond to a wide variety of situations, from city driving to outdoor leisure activities. To further add to the fun of the drive, the L and L Sky Roof types are also equipped with 7-speed mode so the driver can enjoy a manual shift feel, along with a shift indicator that displays gear changes made using the paddle shifters.
