Open cat can use in any category and so, he can play with this COE. Whoever is desperate for the car and willing to pay higher price, this COE is theirs. So you may have to wait till yo [;)] ur turn.

I am getting my airwave next week. PI is consolidating the total price I need to pay up. This including my insurance. any bro here drive with the Skyroof? would like to find out the premium different w/wo Skyroof. I have a 50% NCD. My currently paying Premium for Comprehensive Coverage is at $541.43, excess $200 waived (Based on 50% No Claim Discount,

5% Safe driver discount, no claim made in the last 3 years) for my 3 and half yrs 1.6 Hyundai Matrix. Will my airwave premium with SR much higher than this?

[bounce1] Hi, I just take delivery of my Airwave yesterday, I like the shape, power and low FC of this car. But I am still not familiar with some of it feature yet. Could some senior Airwave owners help me? My questions are:

(1) Can I use 95 octane patro instead of 98.

(2) The light of meter panel display is always on, it is normal? I know some other cars, when the cars are driven to brighter outdoor area, the light is off automatically.

(3) Airwave's timing belt is metal or rubber type. If rubber type , it need to be changed after 80,000km right?

Thanks for help.

Got my Airwave w/moonroof 3 weeks back, stormsilver, from .P********M*********. Got it delivered within 3 weeks and few days. Came with 6.5" in-dash DVD/TV tuner/Revering camera, HID, alcantara leather (black/grey) and 14" sports rims/Yokohama Aspec tyres (noisy), will change later.

FC about 13.5 - 14.5 km/L; just done 1000 km serving at Motogard Tampines (@ $48 using ELF synthetic oil and original oil filter).

Used to drive 2.0L Suzuki Grand Vitara. When first drove Airwave, big contrast- good acceleration, refined, can easily keep up with the 1.6L crowd, of course faster and nimbler than the Grand Vitara. Much more spacious too.

replaced the 4 door speakers (shocked when I saw them after removed-wimpy -tinny speakers. Got 4-channel power-amp, 4 2-ways speakers and an amp to drive a bazooka sub. Great difference in sound.

Am satisfied with my ride. Lower road tax, lower fuel costs, more space, great moon-roof, good ICE, happy.

BTW, wrapped leather over original steering wheel. Better grip, great feel. $180.

Now looking for an English manual...can't read Jap...heard its available. Anyone can help? cheers !

I pay $60k for my airwave recently, without moonroof, DVD and reverse video camera. Basic package include 14" sport rim, leather seat, remote and reverse sensor.

Happy with the car, particularly with good FC.

$60k's a good price. Nowadays running a car is so expensive. Lower instalments and fuel consumption translates into real savings over the years. 14" tyres are cheap! e.g Bridgestones GR80 185/65/14 is about $85+ per pc. I used to pay almsot $200 per pc on my 235/16/60 tyres. Enjoy your ride !
