Bluedevil Neutral Newbie October 21, 2005 Share October 21, 2005 Hi Airwave05, Don't know about your driving style. Do you perform late braking or early braking or tap braking? Read from 1 japanese airwave forum, there is a complain on the braking ability. It states that you'll be require to put more pressure on the brake pad to "feel" the brakes. I experience that too. I'm a late braker, so to me theoractically, more brake is a definite. But my wife is an early braker, she too has to press more brake. Was thinking of changing the brake system. Or do any expert in this forum can give pointers? Not sure about the chain timing, I thought VTEC always use belt (I check my car later ). What is your car model? BTW, how do you find the body roll? Airwave05 Neutral Newbie October 21, 2005 Share October 21, 2005 Hi BlueD I am not a dasher, only need to E-brake occasionally. If u classify brakers under 3 categories, then i belong to TAP BRAKERS. My only requirement for good brakes is short braking distance under wet condition. So far no complaint as compared to my previous car with 4 discs & ABS. I must agree that we need to step a little harder under Late Braking. Could tis b Brake Assist? I choose to believe tat good tyres does contribute a little to gd braking. Initally I thought tat only i-VTEC comes with Timing Chain. When I sent my vehicle to 2 workshops ( c c look look 2 get opinion on accessories ) , both experts concluded tat our AIRWAVE 1.5G uses timing chain instead of belt. Can't go wrong on that.
