Concern: Broquet with Fuel Magnet

Hi experts out there, especially Cool,

 

 

I have the broquet BM30 installed on my car, recently, I have been hearing alot about the fuel magnets and was wondering if there would be a problem using these magnets on the fuel line..........for example, with the metal ore additive from the broquet clog up the fuel line where the magnets are??

Personally i find that Broquet is not effective for my car... so that's why i sold it off.... and i'm happy with Apollo...

I've come across a guy who installed Broquet on his Megane Classic, and said he felt and see nothing for the first month or so after installation, and wanted to have it refunded. Went back to the shop in Tmn Molk JB, (M'sia HQ for Broquet, I think), and the guy there asked him to continue using it for a while more. Then after some time, he said he got better mileage, cleaner spark plugs and also more responsive engine!

Broquet has been installed for 2 mths,i'm quite happy with it as the fuel consumption has reduced and the car is smoother and quieter.

 

Think the magnets would boost the fuel consumption huh?

 

was thinking of trying the one featured on this mth's Wheels Mag............

If you are thinking of saving fuel... it does not help much cos there is a rate of marginal return in all these product.

 

If I were you, I will try something else like a performance air-filter etc.

Yep...Broquet take time as it is the after effect of your cylinder and valve being cleaned due to more efficient burning and thus beter fuel consumption and smoother acceleration and also improved response of the throttle....

my fuel consumption dropped 10% after I installed Broquet. Although there was marginal improvement in response and pick up. This is the third tank already - is this usual?

 

Re some people's detergent effect theory, how does this work? It doesn't sound plausible how the cleansing action would impact fuel consumption adversely.

 

Appreciate answers as I am nearing my 30 day end of money back. :)

Maybe, it is the way you drive, with improvement in response and pick up, you will tend to give it more gas to enjoy it more and so increased fuel consumption.....For mine, there is definitely fuel saving..but then it will depend on the weight of my foot..

I got my doubts on these so called fuel saving/performance enhancing devices. i wanted to get one, so i did some research and found this website belonging to the US equivalent of our CASE:

Broquet is from UK not from US....As for me, the broquet work its wonder after 2 tankful....

I'm on Broquet [3xB5T in-tank and 1xB40 in-line] and Super Fuel Max now. Am going to sell off my 1-year old B40 in-line and keep my in-tanks as they [the in-tank units] work more for me and I need some $$ now anyway. I've been getting about 10% fuel savings for my Broquet. The Super Fuel Max just smoothens out my torque curve. No problems with these 2 items working with each other so far.

Hmm... i guess... it works well with some cars... and not others... perhaps we should have a list here about it... what car u drive with broquet and how much fuel improvement did u get... will help future buyers probably...
